I got a little bit hungry and decided to get chicken nuggets from McDonald's. I went to the drive through and there was only 3 cars there. I waited 15-20 mins to ONLY do my order, only that. Then 35-40 mins we got our order. While waiting I thought "Maybe there's only 2-3 people here". When I reach the line it was filled. Do I regret my decision of waiting? Yes. I WAS REFUSED SERVICE. !! I walked into restaurant and watched an elderly lady get counter service and I stood patiently waiting to give my order . But it didn't happen . The person behind the counter said to me " counter service is closed " stunned by this I said pardon me . We came to this McDonald's on the Fourth of July so of course it was crazy busy with people headed for the beach. They do have electronic kiosks where you can order your food in addition to the person taking the orders at the counter But while I was standing there waiting for them to make my food there Why is someone complaining how her order had been messed up that she ordered at the kiosk. My order was wrong that I placed with the cashier also. I ordered two hotcakes and sausage but fortunately when I looked at my receipt I saw that they charged me for hotcakes and steak. McDonald's serves hotcakes and steak?! Steak?! Who knew? Anyway question, the manager was very nice and got it straightened out quickly. However, I did see that back in the kitchen there were a few workers that did not have gloves on and they were putting the frozen food in the cookers and one getting ice.The workers that were wrapping up their cooked food had gloves on but I would think you would need gloves for all of the food prep. The food was fine and the bathroom wasn't too dirty but the flies flying around while we were trying to eat were pretty disturbing. read more

Rude customer service. I ordered a Mcflurry and a large fries. She handed me a McFlurry that was not mixed in. Her coworker stood around at the fries station not doing anything. After waiting at the counter for 10 minutes mixing in the McFlurry, I asked for my Order of fries she told me to wait one moment while she slowly filled up 5 boxes of fries. She turned around and spoke to the coworker about who was closing tonight. After putting 2 orders if fries into 2 separate bags she slowly put a 3rd order into a bag and handed it to me. These workers are not diligent. They are obviously not paid enough cause they don't care about their job or the customers. They will intentionally irritate you by the way they waste your time. We frequent this location as it is close to our home. However, every time we do our fries are undercooked, the almost always mess up our order, even with the most simplest requests and always forget something, kids toys, sauces, etc. We continue to give them a chance due to convenience but always leave disappointed. This is the worst McDonald's in berrien county. Every time I go to this McDonald's I give them the benefit of the doubt that maybe they were just busy the last time they forgot half my order. Or the time before or the time before. Plus it's right by my house so it's convenient, which is the reason they have kept my business even though they don't deserve it. Not only is my order missing items literally EVERYTIME I go there, but the staff is completely rude and under staffed, or maybe it's just that they weren't trained correctly. And if by chance my order is correct, it's cold and hard. I can honestly say that I have never had a perfect order from this McDonald's. I will say they do keep the bathrooms very clean. And the bigger man that's in the drive thru in the mornings is very sweet. He's always a joy to see in the morning. But all the other staff, nope. Since McDonalds food is toxic and full of chemicals in general the only thing I will order from them is the Egg McMuffin. But I can't even get that most times if I don't get there before 10:30am. We never receive a receipt when stopping at this location. Also, they don't ask what size meal you want and it's "not normal for them to," though I've never been to a McDonald's where they did not. We will never set foot in that place again. My step daughter placed a order and went to pay with my wife's credit card. She was to that since the bill was over 20 dollar's that they needed to see her ID. They then told her no because it was not her card. So I went in to ask why. I then said I would pay for it. I gave them my wife's card and the rude manager said no. I would need to pay cash or use my card. Well I had the cash and my card but after that l didn't want their food and went to subway. By far the worst McDonalds you will ever go to. I live in Bridgman MI and have tried giving this place a chance more than once but literally every time I go i am disappointed or angered. The last time I came and ordered 2 BIG MAC meals i asked for extra Big Mac sauce.... they literally doused the entire burgers in sauce as if it were a "screw you" joke as well as put double cheeseburger patties in the big macs.... yes i noticed. It has been months since ive been there and tonight being a late a night, it was my only choice. Once again they put double cheeseburger patties in my big mac. They are literally Robbing people. This has been the case for years here. when you'd order a LARGE fries they would give hand you a FlAT box of fries...not fully opened. I wish I could go below one star. Everytime I have been in this McDonalds within the last year I have had a bad experience. I often order breakfast food, as offered on the menu, in the afternoon. The eggs are dried and rubbery, the bacon has turned into jerkey and cannot be chewed, and the biscuits are hard as a rock and hotter than the sun. This is no exageration and it is very consistent, I almost choked to death one visit and notified the manager who had them remake a bacon egg biscuit. The second was as bad as the first. The last visit I used the men's room to find the only toilet stall was flooded with urine and feces from having been flushed while clogged, I notified the manager only to be informed they are aware of the situation and that the employees all refuse to tend to it. This franchisee should without a doubt recieve regular visits by McDonalds corporation quality control and if their repeated infractions continue their license should be revoked. read more
