Not much of a McDonald's fan, but this location is definitely one of the best ones. The nuggets are crispy and actually have flavor, my order is never messed up, and we never have to wait long. My alternator went out in the drive-thru a few weeks ago, and the manager made sure my battery had enough charge to get home. Since I lived 30 minutes away, he gave me his phone number just in case I got stranded, he could come jump the car off again. It was triple digit heat and it was just my small children and me, so I really appreciate the assistance and concern. This is my favorite McDonald's. read more

McDonald's - Burgers Near Me - Breckenridge, Texas

Literally the worst McDonalds I've never been to. Mobile order took 20 minutes. The manager (or I assume) was yelling horrible things at the employees and cursing at them. I could see back to the kitchen and she kept chewing, so I guess she was too busy eating the restaurants food to help the staff. Then a male who also appears to be a manager was putting the staff down. This isn't leadership, and no one wants to work for people like that. On top of that, every employee seemed sick. Several were coughing and looked flu like. One kept coming from the kitchen to the drink fountain and refilling the same cup and drinking out of it. Just completely unsanitary and concerning to say the least. Many people were complaining that their meal wasn't correct. Just terrible, won't ever be back. read more

Genuinely the worst Mcdonalds you could possibly find. They are always understaffed and they take forever. I had a mobile order that I put in and paid for at 10:13 this morning, I didn't get to the window until 11:11, due to the line being miles long, and they told me they were no longer serving breakfast. Great selection of different things on the menu weather dining in or going through the drive through. No music playing in the restaurant ,but they have Fox News playing on the television every time I've dined in there. The service is decent and the inside is pretty clean compared to some other places. They did have the Sprite Remix/Tropical which I enjoyed very much ,but now I don't know what happened to it. I enjoyed the Mc Cafe coffee options they have since their is no Starbucks store in town. So this is the next best thing for coffee. read more

This used to be the best McDonald's. Loved it. Not anymore. They can't figure out a system for having cars park and bringing their food out. Maybe they should call Chick-fil-A to figure out a system because they sure have it figured out. There's an employee or two that walk around to each vehicle asking if what's in the bag is their food. Every year it's the same thing. September 1st. Opening of hunting in Texas. It's the ONE day that there are hundreds of people that are going to be at your doors at 5am when it opens and the people are NEVER ready. Ever. They always look so surprised too. It baffles me. Put it on your calendar. EVERY YEAR on September you need to be ready when you say you open. At 5am. Pretty simple. Update (changed from 1 star to 3): They opened at 5:10. I go to McDonalds nearly every time I'm in Breckenridge, but this time as we were going through the drive through, we had to wait which was absolutely fine but when one of the workers came and gave someone else their food she went to the car in front of us and they were smoking and she asked if she could hit it. Did not enjoy my food! My burger got messed up twice and by the time I received my "fixed" burger I was home ready to take a bite into my sweet BBQ Bacon burger with a sesame bun and crispy chicken! I was hungry and ready to destroy it but NO! It was wrong!!! I had gotten a quarter pounder meat instead of crispy chicken and I wasn't too mad because it's a fresh beef patty so hey who's complaining? Well I am because the darn thing was colder than my soul!!!! It was disgusting so I threw it away and my fries were cold too but I still ate them. Overall, Breckenridge Tx McDonald's isn't the best place to eat! The workers there are rude when I go through drive thru most of the time. If I could give no stars I would! Service was horrible !! The person at the window was chatting with the car in front for a good 10 minutes.. once I got to the window I waited another 15 minutes.. he had a attitude and slammed the window in my face .
