Food was cold, they forgot my fries. Wanting to make me pay for them, just to never get them. Their service was horrible, food took too long. The ambiance was awful, they took long to make it and forgetting food that I payed for. read more

Food was fresh, but the quarter pounder had no cheese and two top buns, and was a little too pink for me. Kathy in the front was super nice and friendly, one of the best McDonald's employees you'll ever come across. :) read more

I rarely write 1 star reviews however. This Mcdonalds is absolutely disgusting. The drink area to make your drinks were gross. It looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a long time. I would not come back to this one. I stopped here while traveling. read more

Long wait Something will be wrong Something will be cold Keep receipt because chances are good your going inside due to your food never coming read more

The worst service ever. You literally wait 10+ minutes every time you order from this location regardless of the time of day. It seems either there is no management training people in their standard work or there is just no sense of urgency. If I were the owner or upper management, I would be embarrassed. The only reason you exist and pay the overhead bills is because there are no other options in Brandon directly off the highway. Seriously the worst. read more

Ordered on the McDonalds app. Once arrived there were 2 vehicles a head of me in the drive thru. Took 40min in the drive thru and me walking inside to get our food. Was 30min from the time I pulled into the drive thru and got to the food pick up window. At the window the employee said was just waiting on fresh chicken nuggets and to pull ahead. After 10 minutes of waiting I went inside. I requested a refund instead of the food from the manager. She proceeded to just get our food order. I told her I wanted a refund and not the food. She said they were short staffed. She offered to get a couple of free sandwich coupons. I declined the coupons as I will never return and walked out. The food was luke warm and disgusting. A waste of time and money. We rarely eat fast food and thought we'd give McDonald's a try as that is what the kids really wanted. I sent an e-mail to headquarters only to get some random generic response. I can understand being short staffed, but then let people know what is going on, give someone a chance to cancel their order, as I surely would have appreciated knowing it would be a LONG wait when I let them know I had arrived, then it would have been on me if I would have decided to wait vs this situation. read more

Zero out of 10 services we walked in past 7 o'clock and we are starting to order and on the online ordering machine the manager comes up to me and my friend and tells us there lobby closes at 7 which i didn't know because there wasn't a sign on the door and was unlocked then she can proceeds to ask us if we have a car and we say yes and we are just ordering a two Dr Pepper's then in a rude tone tells us that we have to leave and that we cannot order and then I walk out and I tell her that she was being rude and she tells me that I came and go through her drive-through because I just wanted two Dr. peppers. very disappointed in the costumer service especially because she was the manager read more

No masks and a 15 minute wait in the drive thru for a coffee order. Coffee! No wonder the reviews are all negative.

Tired of COVID being an excuse not to open up completely. Drive thru only in SD which is open. Don't have enough employees start paying them something worth staying working for you read more

Pretty sure McDonalds corporate mandates masks for all restaurant employees. But here? Nope. Pretty shoddy.

Slowest McDonald's service I have encountered in years. Filthiest bathrooms I have used in a very long time. Disgusting.

Every single time we come there is something wrong with our order... and then when you try to get it replaced, the girl who always works in her pajamas yells at you... read more

One thing about the McDonald's brand should be consistency. No matter where you are in the country, consistency. One thing I love about McDonald's is their coffee. When I'm traveling, I will frequently swing through McD's on my way in to wherever I'm working that week for a large black coffee. This morning, the coffee at this location close to my hotel had no scent, and no taste, it was literally hot black water. This McD's is connected to a gas station so I don't know if that had anything to do with it, but regardless, I dumped it and went to another McD's closer to my work location and their coffee is what I am used to from McDonald's. read more

I live in Brandon and I have been waiting for 15 minutes for my food and I am in the drive thru. I see cars going around me. They need better management. Then when they finally get my food to me they say nothing to me. read more

Girl was rude and ignorant, and the place is filthy. Went inside by accident, it's drive through only. No wonder, it's disgusting. Maybe that's why the girl was so rude, she must've been mortified that potential customers saw the filth inside...but then again, that's probably giving her too much credit. There was also dog crap in the parking lot by the door, guess that should've been a red flag. Would not eat here, you're likely to get food poisoning. read more

DONT GO HERE!!! I was thinking about getting a treat on my way home and it was so slow!!! I ordered 3 vanilla ice cream cone. And then I waited, and waited, and waited. It took 28 minutes to get 3 ice cream cones. I even double check to see if the order went through, they said yes and just moved on. Dont go here. Slowset service Ive ever had. read more

This was literally the worst experience I have ever had. If there was a zero I would give this place a negative ten. They got my order wrong and I went back in and they got it wrong again. If I were the manager I would burn it to the ground and never look back. read more

Worst McDonalds i have ever been to, shouldn't have to wait parked outside for 30 minutes to get "fast food" from the drive through. Not the only time this has happened either....joke!! read more

Wow! We were blown away by the customer service at this McDonalds. We are not typically McDonalds customers but due to a snow storm we had to stop in to wait it out. Boy! We were glad we stopped. The manager on duty was super friendly and helpful. We got a piping fresh hot coffee and it was delicious. 10/10 would recommend this place for their awesome staff. read more

A poor example of McDonald's be careful going here. Every time I've been its been a very painful experience. You have been forewarned.

Waited 20 minutes for my order. They decided it was smart to only schedule 3 employees to work on a Friday night. They were out of apple pies and chicken tenders. They locked the doors at 9:30pm. Pretty sure they are to be open until midnight. They put a sign on the door closing the lobby early. read more

Waited in line for 25 mins for a coffee filled with grounds and a cold sandwich. Would not recommend.

Wanted food from the breakfast menu. Was told I couldn't order off the breakfast menu even though it was displayed. 11:00 am on a Sunday and they do not serve from the all day breakfast menu. So I waited in the drive through line for 35 minutes for a meal I didn't really want, wanted breakfast. Pay with my debit card. No receipt. Out if paper and too busy to refill I was told. Drive the 20 minutes to get to work, take s drink and I have a diet Coke Instead of Dr. Pepper. I actually hate this McDonald's but Brandon doesn't have much to pick from for breakfast. So disappointed. Never even said thank you either. Worse McDonald's ever and unless all other restaurants are closed in the great USA, please avoid this place. You will be 100% disappointed. This is a guarantee. read more

This is a horrible place! Really bad service! Everyone acts like they don't know what they are doing. They need new management!

I would give this zero if I could. I have been waiting for 23 minutes for my food while I watch kids play and hug each other instead of working. Two workers left in the middle of a rush and after complaining numerous times was only told "one minute we are under staffed. Absolutely horrible service. read more

If you absolutely have to have McDonald's drive 15 minutes either direction and go to Luverne or Sioux Falls as this store is ridiculous. Always check your order when you leave because nine times out of 10 they will have screwed it up. If you want ice cream forget about it their machine is never working, the staff they employ walk around like a bunch of walking dead zombies that have not a care in the world if you get serviced or notAnd the management runs around picking up after all their messes if there was ever a store that needed a makeover it would be this one. Start by firing the management get good management in there and get employees who actually have a pulse and a care in the world read more

Stopped in at 11:30 at night for a sausage mcmuffin. Received my order wrong at 11:51. Not 1 employee wearing a hat/visor or gloves, young men with long hair everywhere, trying to see thru their hair and pulling up there pants constantly. Didn't want to eat my sandwich after receiving it. It's a shame Brandon has a great opportunity with this restaurant, but someone just doesn't care on the management side. read more

This McDonalds is a shame. First, they get your order right about 30% of the time. Generally they forget something or prepare it incorrectly. Occasionally, you get lucky and you get an upgraded sandwich from the one you ordered, but that almost never happens. They constantly ask you to pull up as your food isn't ready. Order more than 1 fried item like chicken nuggets and crispy sandwich and you have to pull forward. Every. Single. Time. The fries are rarely salted. They taste blah. The coke doesn't taste right. At first, I assumed they hadn't put in the proper amount of carbonation, but after a few times there I realized that's just how its made. It's like they are trying to save money by making super weak almost unrecognizable coke. There are also flies EVERYWHERE. The second you open your window to pay or get your food, 3 or 4 of them swoop into your car. I've seen them fly out of their window and straight into my vehicle - it is DISCUSTING! Everything they make is done poorly. Cheeseburgers arrived covered in grease, Fruit and Yogurt Parfaits' contents only reach the full point 10% of the time, sandwiches are dry! You can open a sandwich and find a dimes worth of mayo or sauce squirted in one lone corner of your sandwich. On the upside, they have fairly good customer service. They people at the window are usually friendly, but unfortunately that does not make up for the constant disappointment when you eat there. For such a small town, with limited options, it is a crying shame that going there requires a fair amount of calming breaths and getting out of your car to replace the items they got incorrectly. read more
