This used to be my favourite McDonalds location. Seems like they have had some staff turn around and service has declined. They put a new cashier on duty by herself, and she was clueless about the most basic things anyone who has been to a fast food places - like about combos. She was not adequately trained. I saw her have difficulty with many orders. When a certain manager is on duty in the evening, the place looks like tornado had gone through. Hopefully that manager has been replaced. read more

My rating is 3.5 stars. I'll round up. The McRib is available at a handful of McDonald's restaurants in the greater Toronto area (GTA). This one is the closest one to my workplace. Last Wednesday, after work, I placed an order and drove over to fetch it at the drive-thru. This eatery is tiny. There were maybe five parking spots in front of the main entrance that were all taken. It has a drive-thru, which I used. I ordered the following items on the McDonald's app: - Pineapple chunks - McRib combo, with a medium Diet Coke, and herb and garlic fries I got to the order area. I had a woman on the other end take my order code. She found it and said that I could pull up to the window. There was a steady lineup of cars. When it was my turn, the woman said that they don't have any fruit. It was annoying that the app did not reflect the fruit inventory. If you're out, say it on the app so you don't have to issue a bunch o refunds to customers and deal with disappointment. I asked for a refund. I had to pull out my credit card to get my refund processed. The manager and the woman working the drive-thru were professional and competent. I got my Diet Coke. I was then asked to pull over to a parking spot with the number 2. It felt like this parking spot was across the street from number 1 that was straight ahead. There was a woman standing by the number 2 spot. I may have scared her pulling over there... haha! It was payday. I paid all my bills from my phone. The wait was long, but I was content completing a task. The nice manager came over with my food. She apologized and said that an order came for 16 McRibs that they had to attend to. Wow! I thanked her and wished her a great evening. She reciprocated. I then drove over to a parking lot blocks away to eat. There are no places to truly park and enjoy your food in your car in this tiny area. I loved the herb and garlic fries. The garlic lingered afterwards. At first, I thought that there wasn't enough garlic. It was a slow garlic build that was excellent. No one will want to sit next to you after having it. So good! The McRib was better than I had expected it to be. Years ago, when I last had one, I disliked the barbeque sauce. This sandwich was yummy, but super messy to eat. I opened the box and it looked like a fight had happened between the food preparer and the bottle of barbeque sauce. I found two slices of pickles in the corner of my box, along with some onions. I normally don't like raw onions, but I couldn't taste any of the rawness. My tongue tasted like garlic and the barbeque sauce helped tone down any onion rawness, if it existed. Yummy! The rib meat still looked like it was mystery protein, but it was yummy. The bun was soft and yummy. It was worth the drive and wait. Thank goodness for my Diet Coke. It washed my food down. It hit the spot. This eatery needs to sync up with its app. If it doesn't have fruit, the app needs to state that fact. The demand for McRibs was high, which you'd expect if there are only four McD's selling the product. Staff worked diligently to keep up with it. Worst McDonalds. Go anywhere else. Very small, only a few parking spots. Not the cleanest. Only stayed because on time crunch and kids insisted on eating McDonalds. Staff overall friendly and trying but service was not great. Ordered happy meal with book toy and apples. Received regular toy and no apples. When I went to ask for apples the woman told me I needed to bring back the yogurt sticks if I wanted apples. Gave me attitude. Didn't even ask to correct toy. One of my kids had already eaten yogurt. Supervisor working in seating area saw me trying to get yogurt back and said no worries no need to return. You need to get buzzed in for the bathroom but staff too busy so waited forever with little kids that couldn't wait. Save yourself the trouble go anywhere else. read more

I was always a huge fan of the McRib ("seasoned boneless pork dipped in a tangy BBQ sauce, topped with slivered onions and dill pickles"), so I've been continually disappointed by McDonald's' refusal to bring it back. But when I heard it was available at a few select stores in the GTA, I knew we'd be making a bit of a trek to eat them. We arrived at this location before noon on a recent Sunday and the place was empty. Somehow, though, it took a really long time for us to get our food. I think the joint was slammed by drive-thru and food-delivery-app orders. Anyway, it was totally worth the wait. I was unsure if the McRib would live up to my memories, particularly given that it had probably been a decade since I last ate one, but it really and truly did. It probably shouldn't work, but the combination of that patty, the plentiful barbecue sauce, and the onions and pickles all together is just so irresistible. I would definitely eat the McRib on a regular basis if that was an option. I also had to try the Herb & Garlic Seasoned Fries ("our World Famous Fries sprinkled with a savoury seasoning blend with the delicious taste of thyme, garlic, sage and black pepper"), which were surprisingly delicious. The fries are excellent, obviously, and that seasoned was subtle but flavorful at the same time. I really enjoyed them. read more

If I could give this No stars I would. We had a long flight, got to our hotel and were excited to order from Uber eats. Put our order through and it said it would arrive in 35-40 mins. Over an hour and a half went by and 2 drivers canceled because they waited and waited at the McDonald's for the order and they hadn't made the order. My friends and I tried calling the McDonald's multiple times but they would not pick up the phone. We ended up having to cancel our $70 order and are now starving at 1am. Do not order from this McDonald's, they clearly don't care about orders they receive especially ones worth $70. read more

Worst McDonald's I've ever been to every time I go there is bad service. drive-through takes forever at least 15-20 minutes on every order even mobile orders. Today I have the worst service ever 10 chicken nuggets what's so hard looks like it was fried since this morning 2 coke was flat just ended up throwing my meal away. read more

This location has some of the rudest staff I've come across. Tucked away at the corner of Tobram and Steeles in Brampton it isn't very accessible. It's small and was recently renovated in the last couple years. But holy heck is the staff rude. I'm the kind of person that will let them know I would like the condiments of my choosing prior to the pick up window. And they still forget it!! And when I politely wait to get their attention...still nothing...so now I honk. "Did you need something??" Says the one girl as she rolls her eyes at me...urghh if only I wasn't hungry! "YES I WOULD LIKE BBQ SAUCE!!!" Please for the love of all that good and great including chicken nuggets, just please give me my two BBQ sauces so I can be on my merry little way! Well I'll still patron this location but next time I may have a chat with head office. read more

Just really poor service, long wait times and sloppy preparation of the food. The staff is often squabbling amongst themselves or giving the customers a bit of attitude. A cheeseburger order once took 15 minutes to be prepared and the cheese was half out of the bun and the ketchup and onions all over the packaging. Another time the main cash charged me more than what the kiosk did and another time I was told I was not allowed to pay to upgrade my free coffee to a large. A few days later the same location allowed me to. Very inconsistent service. They need an overhaul! read more

This location has very bad service as they never satisfy the needs of customer. I came here 4-5 times and ordered poutine but they don't have gravy to make it all the time. Such a bad service and long waiting times. read more

This mcdonalds location is probably one of the worst.Service here is really slow whatever mode you order. Most of the staff here are either more concern of how they look than tending to the customers. Workers chitchat too much. Since this the closest location to out place, we dont hav a choice but go to this location. Almost always, they get our order wrong, just awhile ago, my child's quarter pounder looks like a regular burger, it doesnt have anything besides the patty and ketchup. My husband's specialty chicken was poorly made and wrapped. I dont know of there is hope for thislocation maybe unless they chang their management. read more

I come to this McDonald's after work almost every night trying to get food and every single night I am told they don't have any food at all. How is it possible that a 24 hour restaurant has no food for 4 hours every single night!? The employees are rude and clearly don't want to do their job and serve anybody at night time. The customer service and quality at the location at Torbram & Steeles is horrendous. The manager/supervisor and employees are extremely rude. There is no "thank you" in their vocabulary and service is below poor. I often refrain from going to this location because of the poor service and give my business instead to Tim Hortons in the same plaza. It's unfortunate these employees are representing a large co-operation as McDonald's. read more
