Just being reminded of this review I wanted to provide an update. Probably a year ago or more this locations management and staff were overhauled. The difference is a very distinct improvement. When I spoke with Management they were very aware of the challenges they had overcame and credited their staff as well who were also working hard to make the difference. I get breakfast here at least once a week here now and the staff is always friendly and the service fast and accurate. Kudos for turning my prior review around in such a good way. read more

Only stopped for 2 half sweet/ half unsweetened ice tea. #1 - price now is $2.40 per large drink - was $1.59 for some time. #2 - they have habit of forgetting to do half & half so we always ask "are these half cut?" Today the girl says "yes" with confused look. So we ask "half sweet / half unsweetened"? Then she says "no English" so we say sugar half and she says "yes yes", we drive off / they are totally unsweet / we drive back thru ask them to fix - we get 2 more. Pull away. Again only unsweetened. Pull in a 3rd time - husband goes in with teas. Manager (also barely English) says "that's as sweet as it is". Really?? There's no dulce to speak of!! This is the absolute slowest mcd's that I have ever been to. We were in town for a couple of weeks and ate there several times and no matter the time of day or how busy they are, you will wait forever. After waiting in the drive thru for 15 minutes, the food wasn't even hot. There isn't a lot of selection for fast food in this area so we waited. I visit this McDonalds infrequently. Usually when I'm leaving town and desperate for a snack. Generally I just pass it because of vague memories of my last experience and the one before that being unpleasant. Every time I give it another chance my order is wrong and my burger tastes funky, unlike any decent McDonald's in the area. It's probably burnt. The only thing special about my order is I request no pickles or onions. Nothing fancy, just hold the pickles and onions. Not even once in last three or four times I can recall visiting here has it been done accurately. Months have separated each visit so I don't expect that the same people were working each time yet the burnt patties and having to scrape the pickles and onions off are consistent every time. Got #3 combo, bacon, cheese & egg biscuit with hash brown. Very good. Nice outside seating. 80's music background with Christmas sounds sprinkled in. We pull up and there are barricades in the drive through. So we go inside, come to find out the store is closed. And they wouldn't give me our money back. And the iced coffee is strong enough to peel paint off a car. This McDonald's needs new management and employees, at least training. I've tried to like this McDonald's cause it's very close to my house but the times that I have came back the service was ridiculously slow in the drive thru. I came back for the last time and had to circle back around one more time to see what was the hold up. I was the only car there I see inside and the cashier is on her phone the whole time in front of the computer after telling us a few minutes prior to circling back around that she would be right with us. Very convenient. Next to our motel. We ordered through drive-thru. The associate was nice and repeated all orders to make sure he got everything. We ordered the 20pc chicken nugget combo meal (large fries and large drink), 4 apple pies, and Oreo Mcflurry. The chicken nuggets were pretty good nice and crispy. The fries were okay. The apple pies were warm. I'm not sure how the McFlurry is suppose to be now, but it wasn't mixed. All they did was served the vanilla ice cream (wasn't full to the top) and sprinkled Oreo crumbs and that's it. From other McDonald's I've gone to, they always mix it, right? I have to echo what everyone else is saying, WORST SERVICE EVER. Also like what is mentioned before everyone has insanely bad attitudes toward customers. We live close by so have been there 3 times: First Time: Order in the drive through, waited to pay, got to the window to pay and they NEVER put in our order, they just skipped it so it caused all kinds of trouble and they acted like it was OUR fault they decided never to put our order in. Second Time: Got 3 cheeseburgers, all with only meat in cheese. Got home find out two were ok, the third had everything on it we did not want. Not too bad, but getting two out of three was almost like they said "screw them" and just threw it in there, which is par for the course at this McDonalds. Third and LAST time (9/8/15 at 8:20pm): Sat at the drive thru window with three cars behind me, waited about 15 seconds, someone said they would be with me in a minute. Waited another minute and as there was 3 people behind me started saying "hello?". Waited another minute and screamed hello for about 30 seconds. Decided to drive up to the window and the employee looked at me and went back to looking at her nails. She looked up enough to just give me a dirty look, and went back to her nails. She was not even taking the orders of the people currently in line, just sitting there. Drove up to the second window, was greeted by a different employee who said the lady in the first window was worthless, but he was nobodies b@tch so if I want to talk to the manager I can go ahead. YOU CANNOT MAKE THIS UP. Manager came by, was nice enough but you could tell he had nothing to work with. Decided it was time to leave, for good. It is sad too, we live close by, have 3 kids under 7 and my wife and I both work, we would have liked to have used this place more often. I cannot agree more with the previous reviews who talked about the awful service. Never have I seen such a terrible McDonalds, and the reviews of the awful service have been going on for over 10 months (since 12/2014 from what I can see)! It appears no one cares or is willing to even try to get this place to even acceptable standards. Down the road about a quarter of a mile is a WalMart, and there is a McDonalds in there. I have been there about 5 times and they are cool, if you need McDonalds please go there! For the love do not go to this McDonalds! I can't make up how terrible the service is, and how the employees just don't care and are even angry at you when they mess up.
