This is literally the worst McDonald's in the area. if you can go to another one, I'd recommend you do that. They are very slow, which wouldn't really bother me if that was the only problem, but since it isn't it does make the process that much worse. I've had issues with them trying to charge me in person for items I ordered (& paid for) on the app that were deals, like the free hash brown with $1 min purchase. I paid for my whole order through the app then they tried to charge me at the window for the "free" hash brown. Had to argue with the manager, who halfway through switched to Spanish, before they eventually just gave me the hash brown & told me to order the meal items separately (so i can pay more for the same things?). Today, I used my rewards points to get a free hash brown (instead of the deal one), just to avoid the potential conflict here. Just didn't even get it this time. I work at loves next to them not only are my customers getting bad service but I am too. They sit there and talk to each other while there's a line of people waiting I've been asked by multiple customers if they should use the kiosk I always tell them yes because that's the only way your order will be taken after this I tell them I hope u can pay with card because they will take forever to take the money and ur "order" doesn't go through until it's paid for. I go in yesterday morning and order a sandwich I filled my personal cup and the manager one speaks no English I guess or she's just stupid‍ because she walked over to me and said I have to pay for my drink I told "okay that's fine, how much would u like to charge me ?" And she just stared at me with her eyes bulging out her fucking head. I said how much for the drink ? Extremely long wait but only 3 cars in front of me for drive thru. Ordered qtr pounder meal. I don't eat at McDonald's much, and when guy said "large coke?" I said sure. When I got to window, price was higher than I expected so I asked why. Boy told me it was cause I wanted a large coke. I asked what size came with the meal and he said medium but the price was the same. I again questioned why my 5.72 meal with tax was 6.92. He finally admitted it was the large coke. I came on the 29th of December and got my child a happy meal ordered through the app. When I got to the window the young man (very pleasant and apologetic) said something happened and they wanted me to cancel my order and re order. I told him I'd need to check my bank first because I thought that they'd already charged me. They charged me $30.71 for a HAPPY MEAL. The guy said he accidentally charged me for the person behind me. I asked him to stop the charge on their POS. His night manager came out and said their GM said they couldn't do refunds even if it was their fault. I tried to explain that stopping a charge before batching your system wasn't a refund. I went inside because I still hadn't received my food. They couldn't give me a receipt and then just gave me the number off of the soda machine to call. When I finally got through to someone they took the info and said since it was franchised the owner MAY call me in a week to discuss. OK McDonald's has sunk to a new low. Drove thru this evening because I am addicted to the McRib. I tried to get one at the McDonalds on Garth but was told they didn't have them anymore even though they were advertising them on their fancy new sign, so I headed to the location just off of the 10 fwy. I placed my order and I received my McRib box, however when I got home what I had was a dry hamburger bun with the McRib meat sticking out of either end. There was very little to no sauce and it was cold and pretty nasty. I find it surprising when McDonald's busy pushing the McRib season that locations in Baytown can't supply them. My husband and I drive trucks & normally come in to get fuel and go. Tonight we decided to get something quick from the McDonald's. Worst idea! My husband wanted a double cheeseburger with only pickles, my words once I place his order "Could I get a double cheeseburger plain and dry only pickles" my order "and a hot & spicy with no lettuce extra Mayo". That is not what I got I received a double cheeseburger with onions mustard then pickles, the hot & spicy of course had lettuce on it. So I inform the employees & she says ok sorry I'll get it fixed for you. She asked me my order again. I repeat my order but whoever was in the back making the sandwiches didn't have a care in the world! My order was remade 3 times all with everything I didn't ask for! But never left out of the restaurant with our food. I just don't know what to say at this point. This McDonald's is supposed to be open 24/7. That includes the dining room. Went at about 4 in the morning and the entire. Igor shift had the store locked and we're sitting in the dining room eating breakfast. Wow. I used to work at McDonald's years ago and I never got to shutdown the entire store for an employee breakfast. If you frequent this McDonald's regularly, I suggest you compare your receipt with the posted menu prices. The actual price they charge is more. The morning female manager, who doesn't speak English that well claims there had been a price increase. But I insisted that I be charged the posted price and refunded the difference. This happened twice. Ck out how much you're being charged. They will not bring it to your attention.
