When we went through originally, the dude charged us for one order at the first window, when we went to the second window the guy tried to hand us another order. We said we didn't order the specific drink he was trying to hand us, we heard the manager through the window say, "you need to stop merging the orders" to the drive through person. We took our food, went home, noticed we were missing 3 burgers. We drove back to the drive thru, told the person taking the order on the intercom politely what happened and that we'd be willing to pay for it again, and he said to go to the second window. The "manager" started telling us she personally packed that order and everything went out, which is obviously incorrect as we had the food in the car and she didn't want to see the bag. We told her we would pay for it again, she refused, so we left. 0/10, whoever this "manager" is needs better customer service. Ordered dinner for my family using the app. Paid online using my Apple Pay and tried to pick up the order via the drive through line. ( Note: This restaurant is chronically math challenged. We have ordered here before and, without exception, they have shorted our chicken nugget order, usually by half, forcing us to return to fix the order. So this time, we changed from curbside pickup to drive through to remind them of the order numbers). We pulled into the line, and gave our mobile order number at the squawk box and joined the masses inching around the building. When we finally got to the first window, the staff member manning pointedly ignored us for the several minutes we sat there... annnd sat there....and sat there...so long that the cars in front of us were clearing the second window, so we concluded "Well, I guess she doesn't need to talk to us since it was a mobile order" and we pulled ahead to the second window. There, we were chewed out by the manager for skipping the first window, and told we hadn't yet paid for our order. Then she walked away from the window and ignored us too. Since the app had already accepted payment from my Apple Pay, we were at a loss as to what she wanted us to do. There was no provision on the app to further authorize the payment, so it had to be something they were failing to do. We sat there for almost 10 minutes while the manager apparently wanted me to pay twice for the same order. (I'm sure the folks behind us were thrilled). Eventually, we cancelled the order, and went to a different McDonald's that wasn't brain dead. The McDonald's on Broad and Hawthorne filled the order correctly, and with a smile. (Amazing! I can honestly say they are always very fast, and the people at the drive thru windows are usually very friendly, unlike the Burger King down the street where they are just plain mean. My food is always hot and fresh, which I dont usually get at other McD's. As weird as it sounds, I've obviously haven't had fresh chicken nuggets until coming here-they taste really good every time I get them. We stopped by at 8pm, which I would assume is a prime dessert time and the ice cream machine was being cleaned. I came through the drive through and ordered my food I spoke to the woman at the drive through several times to make sure my food was correct. I then had to tell the woman at the window again what I ordered. she didn't have it right again. After we verified it I paid and got my food. Then noticed I didn't get my sauce so I had to stop and go in to get it. Once I got home I went to eat and realized there were pickles and onions on bother burgers. I was so upset i called and spoke to the manager Barbra she told me to bring it back. I did. Not only that but my drink was a diet so I took that back too. Barbra looked at the receipt and looked at the food she apologized several times. She gave me a new drink and all new RIGHT food. She also gave me a card to comeback for my trouble.
