This location needs a lot of work. Staff is extremely disrespectful. Placed a mobile order for a cheeseburger with extra onion and extra pickles sent my son to pick up the order because I am disabled and can't walk the 0.6 mile to pick it up myself I am also pregnant. They refused to give him the food because the cell phone used to place the order was not actively on property so he came back got my phone went back and they gave him a stale cheeseburger with a single pickle buns were hard as a rock and it was cold. I called the store and word for word the manager said she didn't care if I was disabled if I wasn't physically there she wasn't giving my son the food I ordered and then hung up. While ordering in the drive thru, the employee taking our order had a distasteful attitude the entire time. When we pulled around to the first window to pay, the same employee took our cash payment, shut the window, and never opened the window again to give us our change. After waiting a few minutes for our change, she put her back to the window and then finally turned around and waved us to the next one. When we arrived to the next window to receive our food, the employee there had a negative attitude when we questioned something about our order. It's a McDonalds ... no need to review the food. I can't tell one Big Mac from the next. The restaurant was clean enough ... about average for McDonalds. What makes this the worst McDonalds I have ever been in would be the service or lack of service. The four people in front of me were all given the wrong food. I can't get a receipt, still while writing this review no receipt! After 27 minutes I was told that they were out of what I ordered ... so I got a cheeseburger and cold fries! Yay me! I was sitting outside in 41 degree weather and a lady that came out to smoke saw me putting on something warm. I work at a grocery store nearby and on my breaks I will go to this Mcdonald's. It doesn't fail that every time I got here I have to wait AT LEAST 15 minutes. This is ridiculous for a drive thru. You can see workers in the back just standing around doing nothing and about 1 or 2 actually working. One specific encounter I remember was the women at the drive thru told me to hold on and forgot about me. I waited about 5 minutes until I spoke up and then she was very rude. Line was not long at all and still was there for roughly 15 minutes. read more

Worst experience at a McDonald's. Went to go through the drive through and the girl taking our order kept having conversations with another worker as we were ordering. The conversations were not even work related, and we were the first ones in the drive through with 6 cars behind us. We kept having to repeat our order and she couldn't understand what we were saying because she kept interrupting us. Took more than five minutes for order 5 items. And when we spoke to the managers about what had happened, said they were sorry and would add a free item for the inconvenience. Received our food and all of the fries were dumped in the bag, they forgot a whole burger and no additional "free item" was added. Service was just awful... read more

Ok let me start by saying I go here everyday threw the drive threw and use the McDonald's app all the time because it's offered and I get attitude for that a lot. I'm a regular at least you would think and what makes it better I order the same thing usually just large coffees...yes coffee.. how the hell do they not know the McCafé menu it's got to be the most expensive drinks they have so why do the employees not at least know the sizes. I order large get the wrong size and told I'm wrong and laughed at. Every time I go to this McDonald's the food is always hot and good. I never have any issues with ordering. The employees are really nice and respectful. I always get chicken nuggets and fries for like lunch or dinner and breakfast will either be hot cakes chicken biscuit or chicken McGriddle and a vanilla ice coffee and they always get it right on point. We we're having our annual road trip around the state. We stop at this place frequently, it's near our house. When we stopped this time however, I went to the bathroom, it was disgusting. Worst Mcdonald's in Anderson, maybe in the entire state of SC. They will mess up your order, get an attitude with you, and couldn't care less about quality or service. Employees don't know what they are doing and the managers aren't much better. The only reason I go is because my kids beg me to go so they can play on the playground. This has to be the slowest, most unorganized McDonald's I have ever been to. Waiting 30 mins in the drive through just to take my order. Got to the window to pay and the manager canceled the order because they had a lot of people pull off. Had to wait another 20 mins for them to fix 4 McDoubles. Horrible a disgrace and a health hazard. Food is not cooked properly and neglect is a must have trait of any manager at this location. The sweet tea was dated an entire day before the present. The fries were undercooked and the ketchup was soured. Me and my wife suffered considerably after eating not even half of our food. When confronting the person in charge I was told "im sorry" and was refused a refund and any type of compensation. DHEC has been contacted and local franchise has been contacted. DO NOT EAT HERE. DO NOT FEED YOUR CHILDREN THIS GARBAGE. Action against this establishment must be taken. If no stars was an option that's what this dump would get. I wouldn't feed my dog this junk. read more
