If you love a place with a dirty bathroom with no soap, a staff that didn't seem to care or know how to apologize, stale buns, cold food, incorrect orders, and no quality control, this is your McDonalds. I was just passing through, stopped for a quick bite, and placed an order in the app. Went in to wash hands, no soap. Told the crew member. No apology and passed the buck to a colleague. Ordered two cheeseburgers, frozen Coke, and an unsweet iced tea. Drove away, back on the nearby interstate. Opened the bag to find cold burgers, stale rock hard buns, and one cheeseburger with no cheese. The iced tea was actually Dr. Pepper. Too far down the road and too disgusted to turn back. Reported experience to McDs corporate, who redirected me to the franchisee, Patel McDonalds. They offered a free meal to compensate. Useless because I live 1000mi away, and why would anyone return after such a disappointing experience? Based on reviews of other locations owned by Patel McDonalds, other stores also fail to deliver the brand promise. They own stores in Louisiana, Georgia, and South Carolina. read more

Decided to try the Crispy Chicken Sandwich today... BIG mistake. Bun was burnt. Chicken was a dark brown color and was unchewable. Only one pickle and no sauce. What a mess. Avoid this McDonald's. Didn't have all the ingredients for a promotional burger and didn't bother to tell customers so basically paid about $6 for a quarter pound burger on a special bun. Went back to get corrected and mgr had absolutely zero give a damn. No apologies, no offer for a refund or to try and make it right. Just a thousand yard stare. Not sure what her issue is / was. Okay. It's still McDonald's. But since corporate McDonald's changed their standards, this particular franchise location has really stepped up their game. Fresh burger, not over or under cooked. They're also usually pretty friendly and quick. When they're not, they don't have all your food going cold while waiting on your one item to be ready (another words it will all be warm to hot). read more

Waited almost 15 minutes for my parfait. During my wait almost every order served came back to the counter with something wrong. I witnessed 3 potential customers leave the line because of the slow cashier. Some customers came back to the counter and were ignored to the point they walked away. This is the WORST fast food restaurant I've ever been to. The service is absolutely terrible. I once ordered a large fry, was the only one in the drive thru and STILL sat waiting for almost 15 minutes for my food while the workers stood around and talked. They constantly run out of food. My favorite thing to get at McDonald's is their coffee, but somehow, this place still manages to screw that up. Last week, I ordered an iced caramel mocha and what i received was the worst coffee I've ever had, with no sugar or anything in it, and with a little chocolate syrup on top. Terrible experience here Tuesday. I went through the drive thru and ordered the same thing I always do; a very simple, non-complicated order of 5 items. I did not realize until I got onto 85 that my nuggets were missing. I had to wait until I got all the way to the Easley-Pelzer exit and turn around. I realize some of you may be thinking, "Why didn't you check your bag before you left?" Fair question, but I have ordered this same exact meal numerous times from this store with no issues, and since it's not that large or complex of an order, I didn't expect there to be any issues. The complaint is not even the forgotten item; that happens. It's not a big deal. But the service I received when I returned was inexcusable. I came in and politely informed the cashier that the drive thru had forgotten my nuggets. He asked what size and I told him a 6-piece. He rolled his eyes and went over to the nuggets and got a 6-piece and thrust it out to me and then turned around and sashayed off. No apology for the error, no smile. Very bitchy. I don't think McDonald's should be excused from providing basic customer service just because they're a multi-billion dollar corporation. I'm tired of that being an excuse. It's really not that hard to not be a bitch. I have to do it 8 hours a day 5 days a week. They can manage it if I can. The sole positive note of the visit was that they went back to the diced onions on the burgers instead of those onion slices they used for a while. read more

After placing my order of one large coke and one small wild berry smoothie. I waited in the pick up line for 10 minutes to pick up my smoothie. It appeared that the kitchen staff was having disagreements and it was apparent to everyone in line. So if the total is 5.35, and I give you 10.15 (I actually gave her 10.35 but what do I know) do you A: say "the change was .35 and you gave me .15; or B: give the incorrect change back and leave to do something else, then when you see the customer still at the window, dont check on them, make them wave you down and then call them a liar?
