When the waiter found I only spoke English he made a clearly insulting comment to the table next to me-there facial expressions said it all. I should add, once he established I didn't speak German he didn't speak to me again, just the people on either side of me who could translate. I ordered penne pasta spicy and it was spicy and delicious, a tad too el dente for me but still a great dish. When I ordered I also placed an order for take away pizza. In spite of multiple assurances the pizza was 10 minutes more it never came. After close to two hours from entering the restaurant I had enough, paid my tab-pizza and all- and left (with no pizza). I am convinced the pizza order was never placed and the waiter was just jerking me along. So, If you are German go for it, if not stay far far away, they don't want your business and don't hide the fact.
