By far, one of the best Mexican food restaurants in Europe. The restaurant itself is very cozy and well decorated. Phenomenal customer service, our host impressively communicated in Deutsch and English to cater to our table:). The menu is extensive with lots of great options to choose from which included vegan and vegetarian options. The food is flavorful and the portions are very generous so it is well worth the price. Also, the flavor of the dishes maintains well as left overs. The fajitas, any dish with corn tortillas, chicken wings appetizers, and sangria are highly recommended. Someone here said this place would get 3 stars in the states but in Germany they get 4. I completely agree. The rice always sucks at a Mexican restaurant and that rule runs true here. The beans are from a can. But the meat on my plate! Absolutely loved it. Got the carne asada and that's probably all I'll ever order. Side note: the salsa that comes with the meal is quite bad. Went here on a Saturday for lunch and I have to say that this is one of the best Mexican restaurants I've had the pleasure of eating at in Germany. The staff was very friendly and the service was top notch. Very good margaritas, the mango margarita was definitely my favorite by far. The food is great priced and the portions are what you would expect of a Mexican food place. They also except card which is sometimes rare to find in Germany. I'll give it four stars, since by stateside standards this place would probably be a 3, but it's very good for Germany. read more

So glad I found this restaurant, to my fellow Americans, who's souls are slowly dying due to lack of Mexican food, this place will hit the spot. It is TEX MEX, so adjust your expectations accordingly, but it was definitely the best Mexican food I've had since being in Europe. Open on Sundays and they take credit/debit cards! My friends and I (group of 8) were able to get seated quickly and loved their margarita pitchers! The food is good for being so far away from Mexico (ha) but they try. I enjoyed my taquetos and nachos platter. The salsa tastes a bit sweet which is kind of strange, so order their "hot salsa" which taste much more authentic. So if I were in the US, I would give this place 3 stars. But because Mexican food is rare in Germany, I will give it 4. I have been here 3 or 4 times and I always get the carne Asada. It is good though the meat is sometimes a little tough. The salsa is hit or miss as sometimes it tastes like ketchup. The margaritas are good and sometimes on special. The food is fantastic but not bad. I think 3.5 stars are appropriate but I can't give that rating. read more

For Germany this is very good Tex-Mex. The kids nachos were good for our five and eight year old. Good portion size and the food was the perfect flavor. We came on a Tuesday around 1800 and it was not crowded at all. Parking is a little tough, but there is a parking garage right around the corner. This is a great spot to sit and talk. read more

Texan here. I originally ate at this place while I was in the US Army, stationed in Wiesbaden in 1998. I recall it being good then, so wanted to try it again ;) Ate there with a friend I'm visiting tonight; I had the Mexico Lindo plate, he had the Fajita de Combinata. We both had margaritas (original). The decor was warm and the staff was friendly. Service was a little slow, though we arrived at 1800 and the restaurant was only 25% full. Margaritas were weak - too weak for the 5.70€ they were charging. We were served chips & salsa (gratis), which was tasty & welcome. Both of us remarked that the dinner plates were good for Europe, with the only oddity being the guacamole - it seemed cut with sour cream or similar. All in all a good meal. A few drinks each with 2 large dinner plates came to 43.80€. read more

As far as German Tex Mex goes this place is the best in the area. The food is cooked very well albeit not as spicy as you may like but they do have hot sauce. They give you chips to start out which was a nice surprise as nothing here is ever free here. I had the carne asada which I think is their best dish. The prices are great too. Portions are more than adequate. Food is palatable. Tried a burrito and combination plate. Service is quick and accurate. They do offer a spicier salsa. They charge for every item, meaning you ask for the spicier salsa and you get charged. Location is easy to find and plenty of street parking nearby. read more

(Updated for dinner on 15/9/2015) Ok, so I gave this place another try and it was worst than the previous times. First, I ordered the firecracker combo and the description stated it was spicy. Now, I know German can not handle hot food, I didn't expect this to be mouth burning. When they came, it wasn't spicy at all. They actually tasted like the pickled cherry tomatoes filled with cream cheese that were deep fried. Second, when my food came it looked like a pile of poop stacked on my plate (#217). The rice tasted as if it was cooked a few days ago and reheated a few times (there were hard rice bits). Everything was drowned in some type of non-Mexican sauce. My mini-chimichanga was so hard I had to open it (unwrap) just to find to a soft spot to cut into. I was given a taco shell filled with noting but refried beans and a dash of cheese, which was disgusting. However, it's number three that's wins it all. Since I paid for the food, I must eat it. Once I was done, I looked for the waitresses but I could not get their attention because they were all taking shots of schnapps. At first I didn't mine (we all need one sometimes) but as I sat there for another 15mins I was not able to make eye contact with any of the staff because there were too busy drinking. Finally one gets up to get her purse and sees me waving. I paid, left and will not return. read more

We are from the US, so naturally we knew we weren't going to get the kind of Mexican to which we are accustomed. That being said, for German-Mexican, it's decent. The restaurant was lovely, and nicely decorated, with tables exposed to the out of doors when the weather is nice outside. Their chips are good, nice and salty. The salsa, however, kinda reminded me of ketchup. I ordered a "super taco" that was good, but not seasoned with enough of the typical Mexican seasoning. It had good ingredients: bell peppers, meat (that kind of tasted like brisket, actually), lettuce, tomatoes, and cheese. Husband had a platter that included some ground beef tacos, rice and beans that he said was fine. They had chili on top. I enjoyed a smoothie, an unusual drink for Mexican, but it was good. We had heard about this restaurant from a friend and decided to check it out. It was a busy friday night but we had no problem getting a table. The employees spoke both English and German and were very friendly and prompt. The chips were really nice, we even had three baskets full, and it came with a couple of different salsa's, all nice, not quite the same as US mexican salsa, but for by German standards it was some of the best. I tried the Fajita's and my wife had the super tacos. Both came very quickly and with extra rice, beans, guacamole, etc. They were very tasty! Over the one and half hours we were there the waitresses stop at our table a number of times to make sure everything was fine and to offer more drinks. This was far better service then you usually get in Germany. Overall, We had an excellent dinner, very good food, and excellent service. Although it is a bit of a drive from where we live, we will make it a point to go back for dinner again. read more
