The employee was friendly and patient. The food was prepared in a reasonable time. The French fries were still crunchy at the time they were handed to me. The tables and bathroom were kept clean. My husband and I stopped to pick up a Coke. only one vehicle was ahead of us so it shouldn't have taken long. After waiting 10 minutes we placed our order. then finally after sitting at the pay window for at least 10 more minutes, my husband apolo to me and we drove away. I can't believe I'm about to review a McDonald's, but the picture I have in my head is still such a good one that I just had to record it for posterity. And especially because Yelp for many people, including myself, is sort of a haphazard scrapbook of places we've been, things we've done, meals we've scarfed down. Stopped in one night on my regular commute because I needed to use the restroom and I was hungry. The last time I stopped by a McDonald's I was less then happy with the place, so this time I figured I'd pick a place earlier off of I-70. I walk in, and the place is BUSTLING. At around 7 PM on a Sunday night. Really, almost every table was full. Not by families, mind you, but by two groups of people: Senior citizens and Deer Hunters (and yes, it was first season weekend). And it was just like middle school, the senior citizens all on one side and the deer hunters on the other, and they all swiveled around to look at me entering and making a beeline to the restroom. It was great. I wonder what it's like when it's not deer season. Oh and yeah, the food is like every other McDonald's in the country. read more

Unfortunately I have to choose a star I would prefer to give none. Terrible customer service by management & I have seen in person how they treat the staff & speak to them in front of customers. One of the managers specifically asked my daughter to leave over a personal issue that has absolutely nothing to do with her being in the building & has been spreading rumors to other employees while at work. I hate reviewing a McDonalds, because let's be real... it's McDonalds, you know you aren't getting the cream of the crop already. However, this issue has happened 4 times in a row now. I have seen friends on facebook sharing the same issues. I seriously think this store is trying to rob people of what they ordered in an attempt to profit more. First incident. I order a medium iced caramel coffee as I usually do when I go to McD. I realize I'm not ordering coffeeshop coffee, nor will I get the service. But it's fast food and it's practically an assembly line, so it's consistent... at least I thought so. The guy hands me a small iced coffee. I tell him that's a small, I ordered a medium. They are out of coffee, he remakes it, brings it out in a clear cup (as usual) with a hot lid (odd), no ice and it feels warm, not hot, just warm. I tell him it's supposed to be iced. He says it is, he made it himself. I try it. Lukewarm, unsweetened. This SAME exact incident happened to a friend of mine on facebook the next day!! Thankfully, I was just going home, so I put ice in it. If I were on the road though? Yikes! Second incident. Same order, medium iced caramel coffee. I pull up, the lady hands me a small. I mean, are they just working so fast that this is a common mistake? I'm starting to think it's done on purpose. She corrects it after I tell her that's a small. In the meantime, I saw another friend on facebook have this same thing happen at Altamont McD. Third incident. I order a medium iced turtle coffee. I know, I'm getting pretty wild with my orders. Pull up, I'm handed a small. Seriously?! Now I'm really thinking this is on purpose because this is the 3rd person to do this. She let's me keep the small, and makes me a medium. Cool, I'm down with that... except the medium didn't have sweetener in it. Have you ever tried unsweetened McD coffee? You're better off with mud with antifreeze mixed in. Fourth incident. Order another medium iced turtle coffee. This time though, it wasn't me that went through. It was my father-in-law. I should have warned him. He brings me the drink, it's a small! The label even says medium on it. Again, I realize this is McDonalds. I'm not supposed to expect the best of the best. But come on, my past four times ordering something from there has led to the wrong size initially handed to me with two of those times the corrected one being wrong. I'm only writing this hoping that someone higher up sees this and maybe investigates this issue. read more

Clean fast hot food your usually quick stop for a Mc D's. Service was average as usual

My review: 2/13/2013 Check your food! They forget food and get it wrong all the time. Even if you order it plain, that is a common hassel that they get wrong time and time again. And complaining and bringing things to their attention is pointless. Nothing ever changes. OH and be sure to tell them fresh fries, otherwise you will always get old cold fries. Went through twice on a Tuesday at 10 pm and no one came on the intercom, no one was at either windows, and the doors were locked yet I could see employees inside just sitting on their phones. It says online that they close at 11 so either their hours are wrong or they close earlier than they say they do. read more
