I recently attended a funeral at this funeral home. It was a very nice service. But we were very upset about the handling of the flowers. They were very expensive flowers. Usually the flowers are set up with the grave but our flowers (and all the others) were set on the ground over to the side in the 90 plus degree heat. We went off to lunch and came back a couple of hours later. The flowers were still laying on the ground down the hill from the grave. They should have, at least, been put up by the grave. read more

My Dad, a WWII veteran passed away a couple of weeks ago and we had made prior arrangements with McCullough Funeral Home over 4 years ago when Momma passed. Dad lived in Virginia after Mom's passing so had to be flown back to Georgia. I worked with Michael McNeal who did an exceptional job of taking care of all of the details across state lines. Dad had a service at the Chapel with a minister and then a Military graveside service with the Navy playing TAPS, official flag folding and presentation, VFW doing 3 gun salute and the Patriots Guard participation at the chapel and escort and participation at the cemetery. All of the details were taken care of in advance so that the family didn't have to concern ourselves with missing something. Obviously this is a stressful time, but all of the staff at McCullough made it more bearable by their compassionate resolve and taking my countless questions and concerns without making me feel like I was bothering them. I can't say enough good things About McCullough Funeral Home. My grandmother passed in Orlando & it was very overwhelming to figure where to go within hours of her passing.
