I don't usually review companies that I do business with unless they give truly exceptional service. My experience with McCreery & Sun was one of the best I have every experienced. I got a call from my tenant in Greeley who said her air conditioning wasn't working. The problem occurred during a long stretch of 90 degree plus days. I called McCreery and the very pleasant lady who answered the phone said she would do whatever she could to help my tenant. Less than 24 hours later there was an A/C tech at her door. The tech checked the entire A/C system, cleaned it inside and out, changed the filter and added some refrigerant. The house then was cooler than when it was new! The tech then called me and left a message outlining everything he did. He left me his cell phone number in case I had any questions and thanked me for my business. I was afraid that the bill was going to be very expensive but the charges were explained in detail and the price was less than I expected especially considering the high level of service and courtesy I received. I had two different repairs on my hot water system. First the pump went out and to be replaced. It was hard to find a replacement because it was about sixty years old. The company called me about space heaters and they delivered them. They replaced the pump, however the system was still not working like it should because the boiler was so old. McCreery & Sun did a through inspection. They presented different options and I selected what was best for me. The estimate was drawn up and I accepted it. I am very happy with my combi-boiler which included the hot water heater. I got to know and trust the guys. They always had my best interest in mind. I trusted them so much that on the final day of installation I went to an engagement I had. I told them to lock up when they finished. Our technician, Nate, arrived exactly in the window of time he had stated he would. He went right to work and completed the service while we asked questions and my husband told him about the furnace filters my husband had been using. Nate was courteous, friendly and patient. When Nate left, we felt completely at ease that our furnace was in good working order in anticipation of the coming winter. Received multiple quotes to replace furnace and A/C. Didn't like the high pressure of some, or the smoke and mirrors from others regarding which equipment (model) was being proposed.
