Stewart, twice a day while we are out of town and she always sends multiple updates and photos during each visit. Penny is a very kind, warm person who is a true animal lover and she gives Miss. Stewart the best care while we are away. Marge, who I think is the owner, is also wonderful and made it very easy for us to sign up with Home Run a couple of years ago while we were on our honeymoon (we did it all through email and text! Marge is a champ and super helpful). Prices are very reasonable - pet sitting visits are about $25 or $30 and the sitter will do anything that needs to be done for your pet. Penny even offers to check our mail for us and will take the trash out on trash day. I just can't say enough about this wonderful service. We first used Home Run Pet Care in October of 2015 and we have used them one other time last July while we were out of town for a week. I just scheduled with them for an overnight trip that we're taking next week, and we also plan to use them again when we take our next family vacation this July. We love our cat and she is very special to us, so it's nice to be able to relax knowing that she is safe and somebody is able to check on her daily when we have to go out of town.

This last go round, they left my house smelling like a litter box, even though they were to scoop poop twice a day for three cats. I did not think I had to tell them to take it out of the house after they scooped poop.They won't admit what they did, but I am assuming they left it in the trashcan in the kitchen all week. Their response was they followed my directions. I have requested a return my house key. To date, I do not have it. Hopefully the next time I hire someone I won't have to make the specific direction They need to take it out to the trashcan after they empty the litter box.

They were there 11 days I believe. It was NOT cheap. I EVEN LEFT A TIP!!! Everything seemed wonderful. They bathed my pups per my request, they even came in after hours to let me pick them up. Here lies the issue. My pups have ONLY been at my house in my yard or at their boarding establishment. No walks elsewhere, No dog parks, No one else's house. NOWHERE!!!! About 7 days after I returned home with them, one had a spot on his back where the hair fell out/became red irritated/then dry & flaky. Only to find out it was indeed RINGWORM!!! I was supposed to board them again but called to cancel right away. I was furious!! * SEE ATTACHED PHOTOS * I battled the ringworm for about two more weeks. Thankfully his hair grew back & I got rid of it. I also prevented my other two from getting it w medicated shampoo. Fast forward another two week another of my pups tested positive for HOOK-WORMS!!!! Remember my dogs have not been ANYWHERE ELSE.... So now I've had to treat all my dogs for that. Thru the Dr that referred me their facility. I can assure you they did not have them before boarding here. I just had all of them checked before I moved here in September. W a clean bill of health. Please be warned. The initial impression over the phone with staff when they called to confirm my appointment was very friendly and accommodating. I had to reschedule due to a conflict. I believe I spoke with Jen. She was very professional and kind. I got lost on my way and I believe it was Morgan who was patient with me and guided me to their facility. Again, I'm new here and GPS wasn't exactly helpful but Morgan was. They greeted us warm and kindly. The lobby is very spacious. Gives pets room when some are already stressed out. Check in was seamless. They gathered pertinent records for Stella and got us into a room fairly quickly. The vet tech (not sure if that's the proper title) was extremely patient with my skittish yet protective pup. The vet also was patient and very informative. She addressed the vaccines that needed to be done, was very thorough in her examination of Stella and while Stella was taken in the back to have her anal glands expressed, the vet stayed with me and explained her findings, expectations and educated me so I could better understand things going forward. At no time did I feel pressure into being "upsold", as sometimes my previous vet would do. I was able to check out and pay in the room, vs going back out to the lobby and have to struggle and pay while my dog is tugging to get out of there. I received a text the next day following up on Stella, making sure there were no adverse reactions to the vaccines. That was unexpected but very much appreciated! I felt the pricing was a tad bit higher than I'm used to but I would gladly pay a little more to experience exceptional client service and know that Stella is in good hands.
