They did flooring, a brand new kitchen and bathroom, tile work, painting, electrical, plumbing, and several custom carpentry projects, including a large banquette facing the ocean. Everything was first class. Brooke is a great communicator - she responded to every email promptly and thoroughly, and we always felt listened to and taken care of. When questions arose, we would get an email or a call, asking us how we wanted things done. Brooke and Matt would meet with us at their office or at our condo to go over details. Matt is an artist at what he does, and an absolute perfectionist. When our shower tile was halfway complete, Matt was not satisfied with how it was turning out. He had the subcontractor take the tile off and start over, and the end result is beautiful. Were there hiccups? Of course, every project has them. But the bottom line is how those challenges, surprises, and changes are handled. We always felt in the loop, and all the challenges were met with quality (and sometimes very creative) solutions. Every detail of our new place is just to our liking - we could not be more pleased. You might be able to find cheaper contractors out there, but Matt and Brooke will treat you like old friends, and will do the job as if you are family.

Seneca has worked periodically on my house, making constant improvements and refurbishments, for over 2 years. What started out initially as a new deck and exterior siding project quickly transitioned into a full kitchen and interior remodel, once I became comfortable and confident in his abilities. Over this period Seneca essentially transformed my 70's styled home that my grandfather built into a cool beach house with modern amenities. I'm out of town often and finding someone I could trust, let alone do the work when it needed to be done, was challenging. Out of all the contractors I contacted it was Seneca who was the most responsive, honest, straightforward, and practical. I found my communication with Seneca to be excellent and with no hidden agenda or upselling. I also found the quality and care of the work, his problem-solving abilities, and his patience working with me to be outstanding. I am a professional engineer and very particular and demanding with how work is performed and how the end result looks. I can honestly say that I could never have done the same level and quality of work that Seneca performed for me. I am extremely happy with all of his work performed. I am also extremely happy with the excellent solutions he produced as there were many problem-solving obstacles with nearly every project we initiated. Additionally, I felt Seneca went above and beyond his duties by agreeing to do non-contractor related stuff at my residence while I was away (such as letting a washer repairman in the house to repair the washer or stopping by to check on a new dishwasher issue, even when Seneca wasn't even working on my house at the time).
