The restricted drive thru availability obviously translates into longer lines inside and out. That just doesn't make a lot of sense if you really care about your customers. I inquired about how I could get a refill and she said contact you primary care doctor on Monday. All if her comment were defensive. While they dress up in scrubs they are not licensed or trained pharmacists, nor entitled to behave as if they are better than the people on the customer side of the counter. While this particular visit was marked only by poor service and a terrible attitude, my last visit included a medication compatibility question left unanswered as the technician (Again NOT a pharmacist or MD, just playing dress up in scrubs) couldn't be bothered to get or ask the pharmacist and just shrugged her shoulders. That from one wearing "Trainer" not trainee - on her name badge. Continuation from my earlier visit today left on the previous survey... Went back in to get my 5 new to me prescriptions. Pharmacy technician was more helpful vs the terrrrrible experience earlier today. So I was handed 5 new to me medications - meaning I have never taken these before - without even an offer or suggestion for a consult with the pharmacist (The real person with a license and not a tech dressed in scrubs). I asked for one anyway and even the pharmacist acted annoyed to have to come speak to me. Now... Last time I checked we have 5 rights in medication - Right patient, right medication, right dose, right route, right time... Part of this is to protect the patient from possible medication reactions and interaction between medications.... So when did protecting the safety of patients become a secondary concern for Walgreens? In this case assuming the average patient will be able to read and fully understand the medication pamphlet and assess that to any other OTC medications or scripted meds they might be taking seems to be asking a lot.

It's the slowest pharmacy on the planet but that's not my gripe. My gripe is they never answer the phone so you have to leave a message. Well, they don't call you back so there's no way to know if your prescription is being filled, what time to pick it up etc.. You call at 9:00 am she says it won't be ready till 2:00. You show up at 3:00 and it hasn't even been started. It's constant. It's every month. It's ridiculous. When I caught her in a bold faced lie about "Melissa" calling and leaving a voicemail (which I could hear Melissa in the background saying she didn't) and asked to talk to the manager she said" We can just transfer your prescription to another store if you're not happy with the service". I said no, I just would like my prescription filled please and would like to speak with the store manager please. I wasn't rude as a matter of fact I'm always overly nice. I believe these calls are recorded so corporate could easily pull up the recording to see I'm telling the truth. She got mad because I wanted her superiors to know how she's running that pharmacy. There's a reason for all the negative reviews on Yelp and Google and all over the internet. CVS corporate would be appalled at this store if they knew how it's being ran.
