The price is not exactly cheap with a sandwich, medium rings and drink I hit at $20 with tax so there is that. Otherwise worth the trip to see the place and some good food as well. I can come to get a 44oz. drink but end up staying for the friendly atmosphere. The employees at the Quick are more than just your average gas station clerks, they are like brothers to me. This place is the true star of Crawfordsville that is often overlooked by its many passerby's. This station has less of a convenience store/gas station feel than most places I stop for gas. It…read morerests to the north of the Kroger in Danville and probably because of the proximity, doesn't have a walk in place. There is a small dispenser for snacks, and there are items like rock salt and propane near the pumps as well. But here are the things I'm not fond of: First, the overhead protection is narrow and barely extends over the last car (the slot where I pulled in.) The rain, with any wind at all, continues to soak the area and makes it risky about getting wet when filling the gas tank. Second, the shopping area where the Kroger is located is downhill from the highway and doesn't have a light for pulling back onto the highway where traffic can be moving at a pretty fast pace. I was fortunate to take advantage of a light to the east slow the flow of traffic from that direction, so I was able to get out, but there are other gas stations in the area with easier (safer) access. The pumps were in good condition and easy to use and I was able to quickly get my gas and go. Just not my favorite place to stop in the area. Review #3526

The store has separate entrances for cars and big trucks. The gas pump area is large and easy to maneuver. Outside, there are propane tanks, ice, fire wood and antifreeze. Inside, there is Casey's fast foods, including their pizza. I picked up a soda for 99 cents. The soda lids pop out one at a time, helping to keep them clean. The beverage area seemed better designed than most other convenience stores. The store is filled with snacks, lottery tickets and things you'd buy at a convenience store. The staff was plentiful and the check out clerk was friendly and efficient. The store was remarkably clean. I gotta say, it is petty dang nice.

The bathroom was pretty good for a gas station bathroom! It's a single unisex stall, so you may have to wait or go in turns. My friend and her father both almost got stuck inside, had some trouble with the locks. I got out just fine myself. But all in all, this is a good spot to stop if you're in town. You can easily swing by downtown Covington, too, if you're interested in antiques and little shops to stretch your legs.

#17/2023 The one9 fuel stop located just inside of Indiana…read moreon i-74 between Champaign Illinois and Indianapolis an old pilot that they've converted like most of their one9 stops. Not much is really been done to this one though the bathrooms have an older remodel the showers have not been remodeled for years the Arby's is still here it's touch and go as to whether will be 24 hours or not it's best to check and see staffing Still remains a big issue. As of this February 2023 the current hours are 5:00 a.m. to 2:00 a.m. they're closed for 5 hours One thing they have stepped up their game with though is the cawfee and hot beverage area in general. I'd like the big pilot down the road in oakwood Illinois about 20 mi away this one is definitely got a good decent staff inside that's doing a good job with what they're givin. Usually when I come in here and I'm ready for some double D it's always fresh and brewed you don't have to find somebody to come and make it they also have the pilot coffee because of course the one9 network is a pilot affiliate just like Mr fuel. But all in all parking is still small for big trucks it's an old pilot as I said it's been here forever long as I've been driving it's been sitting here that's 32 years and for a quick roll in and grab what you need it does just fine for me and I do like to stop here between Indianapolis and Peoria it's usually my choice.
