No Art, tiny wall tv. The Wi-Fi password is beyond complicated. I ll just go cell. Trains and announcement horns a block away. Hope it's only a couple tonight. Last one was a 1/2 hour ago. It will do but I wouldn't send family here. Update: The train runs behind the hotel. Maybe every 4 hours. And since there is a crossing with no guards the horn blow is long and slow. The only piece of technology was the credit card reader on the iPhone, which she was able to use proficiently. Then, when I got into the room, what a piece of junk! The TV had only one channel, and when turned on, went to the highest volume every time. No TP holder in the bathroom, just half a roll sitting on the back of the toilet. Bed was most uncomfortable! The price should have been $30 for this venue.

If I could change ANYTHING, I would magically flip our room so wasn't facing the Hwy - as it is a bit noisy during high traffic My impractical and impossible room flip aside, I have to give the Central Park Motel a rating.of all 5 stars. If you're looking for extra frills, lavish amenities and to be totally pampered, then this is probably not the place for you. The food that was available next door was okay, but very greasy. The employees at both coffee shops within the hotel and casino, do not know how to make espresso drinks very well, if at all. The room was nice, spacious and clean. The bed was decent and they did give you two complimentary waters in the fridge. They also had an abundance of dogs on the premises. It did not seem as though they do a very good job separating the rooms that animals are allowed in vs. not allowed in. The air vent in the room made a very loud noise that was pretty annoying when trying to sleep. The hotel was overall I say 3 stars. There was good and bad. I wouldn't necessarily choose it at a place to go again, unless I had to go to the area.

I did a quick search for a cabin between the San Juan Islands and Portland and this spot popped up. It was exactly what I was looking for. A Rustic tiny house in the middle of the woods. Lemongrass the sweet orange cat greeted me upon arrival. So did a beautiful fawn. So much flora and fauna, that you will be immediately engulfed by nature. There are different themed cabins. I passed Glass, Jewel and Cozy on the way to my cabin, Lantern. Plenty of amenities to take this up quite a few notches from camping, and still maintain that disconnected vibe. I was able to use the refrigerator at the fully stocked outdoor kitchen to chill a few things I brought with me. The restroom in front of the kitchen has a modern hot shower, toilet and sink. Shampoo, conditioner and body wash are provided. In the cabin you have towels in the compartment behind the door. There is a heat wave going on right now, but if it was colder, there's a great little space heater inside the cabin. I slept great. Woke up to the sunrise, birds chirping, and trees everywhere. I would absolutely recommend staying here, and next time I'll bring stuff to make s'mores around the fire pit. Five stars.
