I once got some very bad legal advice from an attorney who didn't know anything about family law, so trust me on this friends, even if you are reaching out clear across the country to someone you've never heard of, it is better that your buddy's wife's best friend's husband who is an attorney - and he can probably just "help you out." Don't do it. Talk to an expert. It will be cheaper than fixing bad legal advice. Let me be your warning. But anyway, back to this review, shall we? So I reached out to Steven and gave him all of the jumbled mess of a situation we were presented with. He had a really long intro phone call with us to get more information and to let us know what documents we needed to get ahold of to figure out our problem.
