I've been waiting a few weeks before I wrote this review. Unfortunately, my experience with Kim and her team was very subpar. This is my first time purchasing a home and I had many questions. She was responsive but I felt each response was dismissive. One of her responses was to my question was " I understand (your frustration) but this is typical in our world." OK for you but what about your clients? I wanted to make sure we came to the closing with the correct amount. She asked me to call her to explain the process, again giving a condescending and patronizing response. "Oh, we do hundreds of these, nothing to worry about." Fast forward to the day before closing, I finally received my amount due. Less than expected but great!. Upon the day of closing, with her quoted amount in hand, we were ready to go. Kim finally decided to go through our paperwork, her firm was the reason for the mix-up. We would now have to come up with an additional 6k+ to be able to close. Hence, why I repeatedly asked her and her team for the FINAL amount due. I did not expect to have to go back to the bank during Covid on a Friday evening for a cashier's check. Fortunately, I was able to get it done. Upon our return (1 hr later), we were finally able to get started. Kim offered my husband and me a few hundred dollars (3 to be exact) to try to rectify the error her girls made. "When we make a mistake we own it" was her response. But again, what about the additional 6k + I needed to due to her firm's negligence. What if we didn't have the funds accessible? For an establishment that does "hundreds" of "these" wouldn't YOU review the documents before we get final numbers? You blame your holiday temp worker for what is your mistake. Could it be that my questions were dismissed because we were "new" Hispanic homeowners?? I found this firm to be quite unprofessional. In any event, I should be able to trust my law firm to review and process paperwork correctly. I will NEVER recommend her to anyone. I felt she served us no justice. regardless of being a first-time homeowner, Hispanic, or an alien, she should have done a better job. Not recommended, not trusted, not a happy customer. read more

I am an attorney in NJ with almost 20 years of experience in general practice. My wife was buying a house and, after the appropriate time for attorney review, Ms. Kim Flotteron entered into the transaction for the seller. I do not generally practice in the same geographical or practice areas as Ms. Flotteron, so we are not competitors for the same clientele. I entered the transaction to assist my wife. After being kind, courteous, transparent and professional in dealing with Ms. Flotteron, we discovered through inspections serious problems with the property that needed to be addressed. Ms. Flotteron, upon being advised of these problems, immediately and improperly asked me for $1,000.00 and proceeded to insult my knowledge, abilities and professionalism to all parties involved, including my wife. She continued to do so, even after my referral of my wife to an impartial attorney. She then directed me to stop communicating with those involved in the transaction, other than herself. Despite its' unreasonable nature, I honored Ms. Flotteron's direction and privately and directly demanded an apology for her insults. She failed to even attempt to provide one or even respond to that demand. Based on those serious problems brought to her attention, the seller's proposed "remedy" was an offer of $5,000.00, being less than 20% of the initial estimated cost to remedy any of those problems, as a credit against the purchase price. My wife, through counsel, cancelled the deal and it is now completely dead (so this review isn't a "negotiating tactic"). There was no stated reason, nor any potential legitimate purpose for these improper requests, insults and actions. Ms. Flotteron engaged in personal name-calling and sharp practice directly with me and then publicly repeated those insults, after my exit, to other professionals in the transaction and to my wife. There is no remedy at law for having your honor and professionalism attacked in such a way, short of a public apology. If this is how you'd wish to be professionally reflected, I would recommend her services. However, I can not recommend that reasonable people who want fair representation and honorable treatment of themselves or their adversaries in non-confrontation transactions employ her. read more
