From the beginning they were off and late to the party from the attorney review to the closing where the paper work for closing didn't even get there till after closing was finished! I was told and in writing 1 price and at the end was doubled!! I paid for a service that the title company and I did 90% of the work!! Oh, I forgot to mention when I called to try and straighten out the problem they had with the title company and closing the told the title company that they will keep hanging up on me if I call again and that I give them a headache and they are going home. Going through a divorce sucks...no matter the circumstances. But throughout the process, I felt like Sylvia achieved the perfect balance-she was always fighting for me (i.e., "getting fired up" on my behalf!) yet she also remained professional, didn't get caught up in the emotion and was able to focus on what was in my best interest. I've now lived with my MSA for almost two years and there is no doubt in my mind that I got the best settlement that I could have. Period. She even added in language that didn't seem like a big deal to me at the time but that's proven to be extremely important as I'm living with the MSA. No one sets out to get divorced....and I had no idea what the divorce process entailed. Nor did I understand the long-term impact of some of these issues. She has a well deserved bad reputation among lawyers for fighting with lawyers and judges by arguing for unreasonable requests and taking positions that the law does not allow. In my case, she did nothing other than delay and bill for a year while refusing to respond to a generous settlement offer. She would not give an opinion or counter-offer. Fortunately, my wife and I decided to fire both our lawyers and hire one lawyer to be our mediator. Working with the mediator was quick and amicable. The final agreement worked out to be nearly the same as the generous offer 6 months prior that Sylvia refused to respond to. Sylvia is known as a fighter. The truth is that her motivation is to argue and delay so as to increase her bills and cause conflict that makes more work for her. Do not hire Sylvia. Find a lawyer who will represent your interests and work towards a fair settlement without unnecessary delay and legal fees. If you and your spouse have an amicable relationship, hire one lawyer to mediate your settlement.

Luttrell charged three times as much and did not achieve a single task he was hired for. During the hearings he was disconnected and nearly said a word. He gave away the case by never objecting to the opposition. I actually lost ground in every hearing because Larry did not litigate . I told him he should send the bill to the opposition because that is who he effectly. Larry's strategy was to milk the client for as much as he could. I have filed an ethics complaint and will sue him. he is competent only in billable hours.
