Small class size under ten kids. Super personal instruction and individual expression. Macey was inspired just by the at displayed all over the place. She's already asking for additional classes. Mr. Frank is the artist/owner/instructor and facilitated the class impeccably. Highly recommend to any Oceanside kids. Alsop classes for adults and a weekly random walk in art expression class. Today was my first visit to the North Coastal Art Gallery and I was very impressed. When I walked into the space, the man working greeted me quickly and said I could fill out a small paper choosing my favorite piece, and they do a 'best in show' every month, based on the votes. That painting will be featured and the artist gets a ribbon too. It made the experience interactive, which I really enjoyed. Can't wait to see who wins!

We had zero ocean experience, but our instructors, Rusty and Justin, were fantastic. They made us feel comfortable right away and did a great job teaching beginners. We were a little worried about getting cold, but Rusty set us up with extra thick wetsuits, which made a huge difference. After a quick practice on the beach, we headed straight into the water! It was an exhilarating experience! I even managed to get up a few times. We had an absolute blast and would definitely recommend this to anyone wanting to try surfing!

Lots of waves were caught, lots of wipeouts experienced, and a great time was had by all. , Rusty was easy to work with, timely with communication, and his instructors knowledgable and patient. This was a great introduction to the sport for our family members. Thanks, Rusty!
