Good food, great service and the price was ok. McAlister's needs to work on their mobile app but overall a good place for lunch.

There was lots of things wrong, there was no cookies on the kids meals, was not satisfied by the ham and cheese melt it was mostly just new people working and they were not very good at there job we were almost charged 98 dollars for four people the restaurant was pretty clean besides every time you move your foot you got stuck to the floor and the paper towels weren't even in the machine so next time if mcalisters wants a better review from some of these people including me there gonna need to have more adults working like normal and not just teenagers that don't know how to work a restaurant. We normally have great service there but the people that normally work there were not working today so seems like there needs to be some better training happening before leaving the teens by themselves at a restaurant. This place was so good back in the day. The food was fresh and presented tastefully. My fiance and I stopped in while passing through and not wanting fast food. We each ate less than a third of our food and threw the rest away. I got a chicken salad sandwich and it was old and slimy and the bread was stale. I tried to eat the potato salad but it was old as well and had more shredded bacon fat than potatoes. $30 in the trash. read more

I wish that McAlister's was more consistent. We have eaten in these chain restaurants all over the country and they are wildly inconsistent. The food at this particular restaurant was substandard. The price for three lunch items made me wince. There was a trash can in the middle of the order area catching drippings from the roof. Not our best experience. read more

My family is in town (my mom grew up here) and I was excited because we used to have a McAlisters in my hometown in MI. I always got the Italian sandwich but, it was pretty horrible this time. I asked for no mustard which they honored but there was some other weird sauce on it. Honestly I ate two bites, and then my chips. I didn't have the energy to deal with it after 13 hours in the car. This location has been inconsistent the past 6 months. Each time we eat here or order carryout our food is different. Mixed greens are sometimes all leaf lettuces, sometimes a nice mix of romaine and mixed lettuce or sometimes all romaine. Today my southwest chicken salad had no cheese or tortilla strips, only one container of dressing, two very thin slices of avocado and three extremely small slices of chicken. I tried this salad over the Savannah chopped salad due to past inconsistencies, but this was no better. Another McAllisters is less than 30 minutes away, in TN, and has no issues with their food. I am truly disappointed in the salad today, and feel a bit cheated because of the missing ingredients. By the way, my order was carryout, but I should have checked it before I left the restaurant. I would have sent the salad back. I have had good experiences with the welcoming staff, but the kitchen staff needs to be re-introduced to the menu items to get them right. I guess it's no more Corinth location for me. Considering I run most of my errands in Corinth, driving 20 minutes to the town, I am disappointed that I will have to take my business elsewhere, unless their service improves. read more

Corinth MS location used to be the best! Well, not anymore! Dont waste you money nor your time. The entire staff here are tuned out to what restaurant workers are supposed to be doing to run a successful business. Too much "PLAY TIME" among all the employees. No management...to speak of. Therefore, when the cats away...the mice will play. And this store is suffering badly. I advise you to save your money and go elsewhere. read more

My first and only visit until recently was probably 20 years ago, when they first opened. I ordered a half sandwich and regular baked potato and they charged me $14.00. That was high lunch prices 20 years ago, hell it is still high in today's money. The potato, although huge, was overcooked, to the point of being brown through and through and "smelled old". The sandwich bread was very hard to eat. It was too crunchy. I know, you're thinking, how can bread be too crunchy? Well, when I bit into it, it would break off and send crumb debris onto my clothing, table and floor. The shards remaining would cut into the sides of my lips as I withdrew it from my mouth. As I chewed, it would cut into my gums and the roof of my mouth. Reminds me of how eating Capn' Crunch cereal does a number on my mouth. I know, you are also thinking, how the hell do you remember a meal, let alone, a sandwich, from 20 years ago? I will do you one better I remember a meal I had in 1980. I grew up poor. I may have been born into it, I was too young to remember that part. At school, we ate free lunches, by presenting a small card with our name on it to the lunch lady. I still have a lunch card. It is autographed by a football player named, Jim Miller. He was from my hometown and went professional. He came to our school for a visit and that is the only thing on me, at the time, to have him sign. Our mailbox was a mile away from the house, gravel road coming and going. That mailbox is where we had to walk to wait on the bus, rain or shine. My mother didn't like us being treated like that just because we "are the only kids to pick up down that road and I am not driving this bus down there just for four kids", according to the driver. My mother got onto the bus, closed the door and "spoke with" the driver. After that "chat" we never walked to wait on the bus again. We didn't get to eat out. Run into a store just to buy candy. Point to everything in our line of site at the grocery store and scream "I want that!" Wear store bought clothing but frequented Yard Sales. We didn't get a lot of toys for Christmas or birthdays. Instead, we amused ourselves by swinging on grape vines, gathering Rabbit Tobacco and swimming in the Hatchie river. If we did get to go eat at a place that required payment, anywhere other than relatives, we knew it was special and treated it as such. Back in 1980 my mom, all her kids and her sister were at a diner. I had a banana split that was presented in a plastic bowl, shaped into a boat. That was just too much excitement for me, at the time, to have forgotten it. But what really put a mark on me that day was, when my aunt's son walked in, sat down, and told her he wanted a hamburger. She didn't pause or blink and yelled, "shut up boy! You have pinto beans cooking at home!" To this day, when I eat out/dine it is still a special thing for me. Yes, my standards are high! Not because I am a food snob, not because I am well-traveled or even a food connoisseur, but because I have been cooking food and creating dishes for myself and family since I was 7. If mud pies count, then I started at 5. I had a knack for using the perfect ratio of small pebbles to fine sand. My mud pies never fell apart and had that eye catching look of having chips in them, like a good cookie. Most of the food I grew up on was planted, nurtured, harvested, cleaned, husked, peeled, shelled, sliced, diced, pickled, canned, or frozen by my own hands, along side my Grandmother. Not randomly raked off the shelf or taken from the freezer section of a grocery store and reheated. So, you see, that is why it turns my stomach to Willy Nilly rate a restaurant 4 or 5 stars for their ability to open cans and heat the contents. Hmmm, appears I went off topic. Back to McAlister's. For years, after my first visit, I had passed by there and very few times would you see the parking lot have many cars. I expected to see it shuttered up at any given time. June of this year, for reasons unknown, I wanted to try Mcalister's again. The strangest thing, when I decided to give it a second chance, it appears everyone in town had the same idea. When I passed by, there were cars in the lot, and on occasion, onto the side of the road. I have only ordered a couple of salads and one sandwich and my favorite side is the macaroni and cheese. The quality and presentation of the food is good and appealing. The waitstaff are friendly. I have seen potatoes at other diner's tables and they appear large and get eaten, so I assume they are fresh now. They are known for their sweet tea and they ran a promotion for one day "free tea". It looked like the event of the century. Parked cars everywhere, on the road, down the road, the next-door lot, all day and all night they stayed covered over......for free tea. read more

Couldn't give it ZERO, so... #1 - the rest of this is probably because the manager was hustling staff to "hurry up" and prep for tomorrow so she could close 2 hours early. #2 - appetizer was LAST thing to come out. #3 - Big Nasty is only nasty nowadays. Seen this at other McA's too. #4 - Broccoli Cheddar soup was practically brown from burning all day. #5 - When the waitress brought out the Spud Max, she said, "This is the Spud Max... I THINK." Why? Because there was nothing "Max" about it. Barely had enough toppings to even tell what it was. Do yourself a favor and go to Sweet Peppers. This place stinks. read more

My husband and I go here whenever we're in Corinth. The food is really good- My personal favorite is the Choose Two option with half a Savannah Salad and half a Four Cheese Griller. The service is so friendly and really attentive. Even when the building is swamped- which is usually is around lunch- the food comes out pretty quickly and the servers check up on you. The prices are a little high for soups and sandwiches, but the food is good so it balances out. Also, they have a really awesome catering selection, we've used them twice for office lunches. read more

The food tasted ok but it is not worth the price, and the sandwich I received did not match the images or the description of the sandwich I ordered. I ordered the sweet chipotle chicken sandwich. It consisted of a puny amount of sliced deli meat, BBQ sauce, and bread. No cheddar cheese and it was not made with chicken pieces. Not worth the price, or the wait to get the food to go. read more

My sister, brother and I live in all different directions. We decided to meet up at our father's house in Corinth. We've eaten at quite a few places in Corinth this week. McAlister's has been one of our favorites. We had two boys with us, thirteen and ten. They loved the food and the portions were an excellent size. The soup was scrumptious and the Savannah Chopped Salad was wonderful. You can't go wrong with it. Great wait staff. read more

My wife and I arrived to have some late lunch. The place was nearly empty. Two groups at either end of the facility. My wife and I took some time to order. I ordered the Reuben and she stared at the salad menu basically the entire time and ordered the tuna salad. (Mind you the tuna salad is listed under the harvest salads). To get an idea of the ingredients, we asked what was in it. The server/cashier proceeded to tell us "tuna salad, lettuce, and tomatoes". We already knew that much because it is described on the menu. We then explained we wanted to know what was in the "tuna salad" portion of the tuna salad. Cashier then calls coworker to explain because she didn't know. My wife orders the tuna salad with a fruit cup on the side. The manager delivered our food to the table and said chicken salad sandwich? To which she replied it's supposed to be a tuna salad. He said "well i think that's what it is, I know they both look mayonnaise-y" then sat the plate down in front of her. We explained to the manager we ordered a tuna salad salad. He then proceeded to tell my wife that's a common mistake and she should explain better next time. At this point, I am livid. After two bites into my Reuben, the meat is cold. The Mac and cheese side I ordered tasted like it was cheese from a can. When Ron finally brought my wife's salad to her he asked what dressing did you want? She replied, ranch and he said I'm a good guesser that's what I told them. My wife's salad had SEVERAL brown, old pieces of lettuce. She had asked for jalapeño peppers to go with salad and received none. Also, she never got her side of fruit. Prior to our meal Ron, the manager, talked to his staff in the kitchen from the order window discussing how we didn't know what we were ordering and how he had to break it down for us. Ron also struck one of his employees in the back of the head, playful or not is was unprofessional. He also received a phone call from an unhappy customer and instead of walking away he had the whole conversation in front of other customers in line to order. We will not be returning! read more
