Absolutely Love Our New Patio and Pergola!…read more We couldn't be happier with our new extended patio and pergola! From start to finish, the team was professional, friendly, and detail-oriented. The design process was smooth--they really listened to our ideas and brought them to life perfectly. Even my idea of adding sliding wood paneled door for the "windy" side of the patio. The craftsmanship is outstanding--the materials are top-quality, and every detail looks flawless. The pergola provides just the right amount of shade, and the extended patio has completely transformed our outdoor space into a place we actually use and enjoy every day. Can't forget to mention some of the most reasonable prices for quality of work! The crew showed up on time, kept the worksite clean, and finished right on schedule. You can tell they take real pride in their work. If you're thinking about adding a patio or pergola, I can't recommend this company enough. They turned our backyard into our favorite "room" of the house!

2/11/2026. Another Review Update: After 3 days the City of Ovilla found the Inspection report for…read moremy Patio extension. The City had previously provided the incorrect information to me. The City had signed off on the project. Apparently, the inspection report was filed under the wrong patio extension. I thanked the City for their due diligence in assisting with this issue. My apology to Texas Patios Plus for including the incorrect information from the City. However, I was informed the City Inspector only checked the framing, not the actual material installed on the roof. This was explained to me after I asked the question why would the City sign off on felt material on a low sloping roof when the industry standard material required for a flat roof is the ice and water shield to prevent leaks from standing water. The bottom line is I am still dealing with a sagging, leaking roof after less than 2 years that I paid $61K for because the wrong material was installed on a low sloping roof. I have had text discussions with Texas Patios Plus to come out and assess the damage to the roof and to provide a path forward. I can only ask and hope they do whatever is necessary to assist with this costly repair issue. We trusted Texas Patios Plus to deliver a quality patio. My husband is a disabled Veteran and the stress of this situation has affected his health. $61k is a lot to pay for a patio and in less than 2 years have to deal with a major problem.

I contracted to have a concrete pad installed for my shed. He knew what the pad's purpose was…read more The day the shed was installed it was at least 4" off level and needed many concrete blocks abs wood shims to level the shed. The small pad in front of the door is 3" - 6" off center, left over concrete poured on the lot behind my house, which I don't own. My fence he took down wasn't put back together correctly. It will cost thousands upon thousands to correct. He won't respond to text messages. He's a Home Depot "Pro" so hopefully there's recourse through Home Depot. I would never recommend this contractor and he will never set foot on my property again.

This place is unbelievable! Whimsical over the top. Great prices! Anyone reviewing this…read morecomplaining about the prices doesn't live in the heart of the metroplex because this place puts other plant nurseries to shame. I could have spent hours wondering around. The outdoor space is huge and set up with pathways. There were so many surprises throughout not only with their unique statues and sculptures but there was a cage with a giant live peacock who actually spread his tail feathers out while we were watching him. It was incredible! If you're looking for garden statues, you will find something you love. They have everything from animals, gnomes, dinosaurs, aliens, flowers and all types of things. They have benches, gliders and swings that are extremely sturdy made out of hardwood. Very high quality. There is every size planter you can image. They even had wood burning stoves! The plants and trees were fantastic! They had such reasonable prices on trees. We purchased 4 trees 5 years ago from a nursery in Dallas and the trees at Roland's were bigger and at the 2021 price we paid back in the day! You can tell the employees love what they do and rally care about taking care of the plants. Everyone seemed happy and asked us several times if we needed help. If you're in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, Roland's is 100% worth the drive.

As the years have gone by greed sets in and what's best for the customer (service, quality of products & loyalty) is no longer the motto. Very disappointing to see it come to this, but unfortunately, I will need to start purchasing my landscaping needs elsewhere.

I signed a contract and paid a $2,750 deposit for fence work…read more The project was never started, and communication dropped as soon I paid the deposit. After repeated attempts to get updates, I was unable to get a clear timeline or resolution. I ultimately filed a police report, and after a detective contacted the owner, I received a partial refund of $501. The remaining balance has not been returned, and the work was never completed. Based on my experience, I recommend hiring ONLY on $0 basis. Pay only after the work is done. With all these unbelievable images posted the same month the company was formed ( January 2026), they SHOULD have the capital to start working without up front payments
