I walked in and was pleasantly surprised: this place is clean, the technicians are nice, and holy moly are they thorough. I was there for almost two hours, but my nails and toes look AMAZING. It's been almost a week since I had them done and they look as perfect as they did after I left. I got passed around between three different nail technicians, who obviously specialize in different things, and I was sincerely impressed by each of their work. I will definitely be a regular here! No other salon has given me that option. I like that they use only top quality products like GHD hair straighteners. Anne used the GHD to make beautiful waves in my hair... Appreciated the fact that they still accommodated me, they then proceeded by asking me to sit down in the middle of two people. I waited and I know the process so it's ok. They were on time with my booking, I had to clarify inclusions as they were asking me questions about what I was having done - even though I had already paid. It was fast and efficient, they did not want me to leave too soon and kept spraying my nails for drying - I was encouraged to wait for 30+ minutes. I am on day 3 of my mani and pedi and my nails still look great, no chipping or cracking, which is unusual - especially for my nails. I paid attention to hygiene - the cuticle tool was opened from a sealed plastic packet, but the cutters and file were sprayed with the same spray used to dry my nails, not sure why or that that makes them clean so ewwww!! I can get a full mani and pedi with exfoliation at my local salon for the same price as this express version, however it is the city and David Jones, so I expected to pay more.
