When I went there and paid my fees three days ago, I was informed that I was the only student enrolled but was not told that the class could be canceled due to the minimum requirement of three students. I arrived for the first class today, excited to begin, only to be told that they had a meeting yesterday and decided to postpone the class--yet no one informed me. This lack of communication was very frustrating and unprofessional. While the staff were friendly, that doesn't make up for the inconvenience of showing up for a class that was never going to happen. I hope the management improves their communication with members and students in the future, ensuring that important updates are shared promptly.

For a number of reasons we wanted to rent instruments rather than traveling with them. No one responded to the request for contact I sent through the website. I called 21 times (no exaggeration) from Sept 7 - Dec 13 at different times of day when they were supposedly open according to their website. All my calls and visits were during open hours. I wanted to rent an acoustic guitar while visiting family in Hanover in mid-December. There was never an option to leave a message. They answered only twice. The first answer was in late October and an employee said I could come in when I got to town and choose a rental from their supply. A day later we decided to rent a fiddle too. Four more calls later the next week, they finally answered and an employee said yes we could rent a fiddle too. I was a bit leery due to the difficulty of contacting them but decided to plan on the rentals. We got into Hanover, called the store from our Air BnB and got no answer. The next day we went to the store. The door was locked and no one answered our knocks. Their sidewalk sandwich board was folded up and leaning against the wall. We thought maybe they went to lunch. We went back a couple of more times that afternoon and nothing had changed. We also tried calling (four more times) but got no answer. The story ends with no instruments for us and no performance for our family reunion. Big thumbs down and not recommended

I know a lot of the staff and have bought a few guitars in here. They have some nice used amps and guitars you don't have to pay top dollar for or get ripped off. The prices vary, but generally very affordable. There new location is epic. In the back where all the acoustics are it gives the felling like your in a barn, but very nicely put together. If your in the market for an acoustic, electric, amp, or drums check it out!

We had our violin repaired here and the shop did a very poor job and charged us too much for it…read more We had gotten it appraised at other locations stating that more would need to be done to actually repair it sufficiently. They did not recognize what needed to be done, repaired it inadequately and we had a much worse violin afterwards that essentially ruined its value. We would have been much better off having paid a bit more and having it done right. The owner is also not kind, not forthcoming and difficult to get a straight answer from. Won't be returning here unfortunately.
