Cool dude, great firewood for a good price. His son is adorable, and the chickens running around had me rollin!

I just needed a little wood for a planter, so I dropped in pretty much "unannounced". The family is super nice and they helped me load up my car with a wheelbarrow of wood. Will be returning to stock up. Total sweethearts. read more

Excellent all around. Delivery person communicated well, showed up on time, woof is terrific.

This company gives us a very fair price cheaper than other companies for sure. They stacked it up nicely and I've been using them for many years this time. I got a full well actually a quarter quart of almond wood, and it was all cut nicely and stacked perfectly most of it was split, which is good. read more

Mc Firewood - 1/2 cord mixed wood - Firewood Near Me

Milton of Mc Firewood is a pleasure to deal with. The price was a little cheaper for 1/2 cord, BUT free delivery and free stacking!

I ordered a 1/2 cord delivered and stacked to my house. They were extremely responsive and delivered exactly as promised. I called around and no one could beat their pricing. But, above the pricing was the service and how quickly and efficiently they delivered the firewood. The owner even brought a broom and swept up the driveway and side yard after stacking. I highly recommend and use their service. read more

More firewood was delivered today. I love the selection of wood, almond. The wood burns long and clean. Easy to start a fire. Once you make contact a time is agreed for the delivery. He is on time then stacking wood so fast wherever you need it. Neatly stacked so I don't need any help pulling the wood out the pile. The fact that it's delivered is a plus There's no finagling either you ask and you receive. Warm nights ahead. read more

Dried hardwood at reasonable pricing. Will recommend to friends and family in the neighborhood! read more

Good price for a 1/4 cord hardwood, delivered and stacked. Will definitely use them again!

This is the second year I've used McFirewood and like last year Milton provided impeccable service and high quality wood at a good price. I opt for the slightly more expensive Almond wood because harder wood burns longer and therefore last longer...and I also love the scent. It also burns cleaner with less smoke. The pine smells amazing, too by the way and is a good option for something lower priced, although it doesn't burn quite as long... thus the price difference. He delivered 1/2 a cord to my house and carefully and very neatly (and quickly) stacked the wood perfectly. The wood is nice and dry and he explained to me that the almond wood is left to dry for 14 months before he delivers it, which is why it burns so well. And he always sweeps up afterwards. I highly recommend this service and intend to use him every fall/winter. Excellent! HIGHLY RECOMMEND read more

Can't recommend MC Firework enough. Been using them for past few years and Milton is fantastic offering a variety of woods. Will work with you on delivery time and offers great prices read more

My God where do I even begin, I guess for starters I inquired about wood for my smoker, I had decided on almond wood as that's what this guy had. But for an entire week he kept telling me to do one day & come that day he would all of a sudden change the day as he now had deliveries to do which quite frankly should have been addressed before he said to do that day. So that happened about 2 times & I finally said OK you tell me what day works for you & I'll see if I can make it work. No response for over 4 days. I finally said forget it, this is ridiculous. If you're looking for a reliable firewood or bbq wood supplier look elsewhere, this guy will lead you on & every time you message him you get left on read. I suggest you find somebody who will actually keep a commitment & respond to your messages. read more

I found MC firewood by chance. I had a normal supplier for firewood over the past couple of years. I mistakenly called them when I had plans to call my original supplier. I was surprised the prices were so reasonable and they were so nice on the phone. I thought maybe business is slower in the summer. On the day of delivery he calls and texts me with updates on when he will be there. He arrives and was so courteous. He stacks the wood perfectly and offers to sweep up the floor. I also preferred the wood since it was split perfectly for my fire pit. I highly recommend him and glad I made a fortunate accident. read more

Great prices and delivery was spot on time! The response back time was a few minutes so very pleased.

Service and response time were great! After a bad experience with a previous service I'm happy to say we found our new supplier. Though we waited a little longer, through no fault of any one only due to the heavy rains, the wood was delivered and stacked beautifully right where we had asked. Definitely recommend Mc Wood, price was competitive and service professional. read more

This is the second time I've ordered wood from them. Both times professional and great delivery all the way to norwalk. Great service

Delivered and nearly stacked, great communication. Please let them know if you have stairs.

Well someone has to leave the first review and I guess this is us. Milton was amazing. He responded to our request in short order and then delivered a 1/2 cord of almond wood the next day. He delivered the wood, stacked it where we asked and then we burned some of the wood that night. It smelled great, burned for a long time and was a low smoke fire. That's amazing service!!! read more
