It was easy to order with the ordering kiosks, with an option to order in English, I noticed the prices here are slightly cheaper than in the City of Milan, I'm not sure if it is because of different franchisees/taxation.
For my food, I ordered a Double Cheeseburger (no bin) alongside Le Ricche Cheese&Bacon (bacon and cheese fries) and a Tropicana to drink. After waiting for a couple of minutes, I was called over to the counter and asked to confirm I wanted it without bread. (I opted for this option as the gluten-free burger at McDonald's in Italy is plain and disgusting).
One thing I noticed was, even though my food took almost 10 minutes, they had the rest of my order waiting to go, now it wasn't on a hot tray, it was just sitting going cold, meaning pretty much everything other than my cheeseburger was cold by the time it had arrived, I felt all the worse for my friend, as her Fillet O Fish Burger and fries were sitting there.
Like come on... why let food go cold for 10 minutes? Either:
1. Offer the chance for my guest to have her food while I wait.
2. Make it fresh and time everything right, so the food is ready at the same time and doesn't go cold.
I don't expect the best service in the world and temperature at a McDonald's in a mall near the airport, but they have to have some standards to carry the golden arches, surely?
I did enjoy the addition of the cheese and bacon onto the fries, but it was just so hard to eat being cold, my burger was also dripping with grease and hard to eat, with either the lettuce wrap or wooden cutterly.
1* - A last resort if you're looking for some food with limited time while shopping or before heading to the airport, but honestly I'd rather do without.
