This was a fun place to check out. Cute and quaint. Very welcoming. The barrel room was impressive and had a beautiful mural on it as well. The tour was great and the tastings after were delicious. So many options to try. Nice lil gift shop area that was in the same location as the tastings.

Another trip to KY means another trip to MB Roland. Eddie gave us the guided tour this round and was packed full of information. The tasting was spectacular. The MALT is amazing!!! But it while you can. I also grabbed a very limited run of Dark Fired Whiskey. Only 84 bottles available. I also love the St. Elmo's Fire. Great for people you want to mess with that drink Fireball.

What a lovely stop on our road trip. This distillery offers complementary tastings along with a premium paid flight option. Soooo many different styles, offerings, to choose from. Something for everyone. We loved their flagship bourbon. It was smooth, flavorful, with just a hint of sweetness. Staff was lovely and knowledgeable. Highly recommended as a stop!

Nice property and nice gift shop. Very friendly staff and a fun tasting experience. You can choose from a free tasting or tasting experiences at $5, $10, or $15. We did not do the tour but it looked like a good tour. They have a lot of selection in the gift shop of their products.

Found this awesome Distillery when visiting family. Not only are the whiskeys great, the bourbons are too..... and the moonshine.. SMOOTH... but just when you thought it couldn't get better. You have Ed give you the tour, worth every penny of the cost. He took his time, but didn't drag it out... so much information about the process of making great spirits!! Go for the spirits, and take the tour. . . WITH ED. Everyone was so nice, I'm pretty sure you can't go wrong with any employee. Wendy and Chris

An amazing experience experience worth the trip, staff was extremely knowledgeable and friendly every step of the way in our tour. One step into the barrel barn(dumbed down) and you will be hooked.

Great place to take a tour. Staff was very helpful in explaining their products. Eddie was our tour guide and took plenty of time to explain everything about the processes that they use. Full line of great products to sample.

Needed some sunshine and decided to go back to one of the most fun places in this area, MB Roland. The day was beautiful. It was a great day just to go on a tour and see the flowers, cats, dog, and views all around MB Roland. Tasting is free with tour. You only get to sample 7 drinks :( . My favorite one was the KENTUCKY AZUL. This 100% Blue Agave spirit is pot distilled and then rested gently in our Kentucky bourbon barrels. It is tequila with a smooth flavor, zing, and a buttery taste. I bought a bottle of it. I usually don't care for tequila except for mezcal. This one was very exceptional. My second favorite was the mint julep. The tour guide name was Shell. She was very nice. The rest of the staff was very professional and nice too. MB Roland is one of the top go see places to bring friends and family to in the Fort Campbell area.

Ohhhh what a time we had! The amazing Paige made sure we enjoyed every bite and taught us a lot…read moreabout the food of Nashville, as well as the backstories on how they came to be! She even provided the back stories of the historical churches & buildings we passed on our way to each location. She was sweet, hilarious, spunky and after telling her ALL 12 of our names just once - she remembered them all, the entire 3 hours we were together! We enjoyed ourselves so much and I'm so grateful we signed up - I honestly don't think we would have received the same experience of Nashville if we had just gone to these places on our own. We stopped off at 5 different eateries, all were pre-picked for us so we had no idea where we would be going. Unfortunately, not all of them struck me as worthy of a second visit but it was new to us (except for Prince's, we had stumbled upon them the day before, whoops) and I will say I'm not the biggest sweets fan but the Goo Goo cluster was the perfect way to end the tour! Thank you Paige & Walk Eat Nashville!

The sad reviews saying the tour guide was late... didn't you have fun at the bar waiting for him?…read moreAnd when he got there didn't you have a great time? I did! I've done pub crawls all over the planet and this one was pretty good. Our guide obviously worked his tail off doing multiple tours a day. Yes there could have been a bit more culture and history, but it's a pub crawl, lighten up! He took us to some very chill places and showed us the real Nashville bar scene. Derrin was prompt, respectful and delightful and I'd recommend this tour to anyone wanting to get a peek behind the scenes at the Nashville bar life scene and looking to find a cool place to chill with some amazing cocktails!

I got this barcrawl tour event via Expedia and it was a bit of a fail. I did give them two stars…read morebecause the guy was nice enough, but this was way overpriced for what you got. First of all, this tour was $85. It was supposed to come with a tour guide to take us around the honky tonks of Nashville. All the drinks were to be covered and we were to get a fanny pack. About two hours before the event, I get a text from the guide to meet him at the Doc Holidays and he will "be easy to find". I am in Nashville alone so even I was a little worried. I showed up about 20 minutes early thinking he was going to be there. Nope. The place was packed. I did text him to make sure I didn't miss him. No, he wasn't there yet which is ok, but he basically walked around the bar looking for me. He was "easy to miss". There were two other people on my tour who also looked confused on the setup. He started up the "tour" with a Sunny D shot and we went from there. While I appreciated the variety of drinks and the different places, I learned next to zero about any of these places. It was like he just came in and ordered us drinks and then sat around and chatted. We went to a real distillery and ended up talking about how cold it was in Georgia, Tennessee, and Chicago. There was no information about Nashville, Broadway, or anything. He left us after getting us a drink at the last place. In all, we had him for a tight 90 minutes only. He bailed on us at the last bar about 5 minutes in. All of us were confused and went our separate ways after drinking our "free" drinks. Oh and no fanny pack. What exactly did I spend $85 for? I get that the drinks cost money, but that only covers about $50 of the cost. What did the guide provide for the other $35? I have emailed the company and Expedia to figure out how to get some money back, but I CANNOT recommend them. This was the actual lowlight of my pretty awesome Nashville trip!

Wow! What a great experience!…read more Everything, from the minute I walked in the door until the time I left was just so perfect. I did the distillery tour and tasting. I have completed several distillery tours, and Casey Jones was, without a doubt, my favorite! My tour guide, Courtney, was the BEST!! Honestly, I don't recall a time I've had a better tour guide. She was very knowledgeable, but, more importantly, she connected with everyone on the tour and made us feel welcome. By the end of the tour I felt like we were long lost friends. She made the tour so much fun! During the tour we tasted 4 different products, including a bourbon straight from the barrel. For me, that was worth the cost of the tour. Then, following the tour, we were able to taste nearly every spirit Casey Jones produces. I think in total I sampled 15 spirits. It was great! I purchased one bottle, as I was on a budget, but I could have bought several more. They take pride in what they make, and it shows. The only product I tried that I really didn't like was the cinnamon whiskey. I thought it was too sweet. However, I tried it mixed with a cocktail mixer and it was quite good. They just have so many exceptional products. Hopkinsville is only about 2 hours from home, so I have a good feeling I'll be visiting again. I can't say enough good things about this distillery. The grounds are beautiful. The staff - OUTSTANDING!! The whiskey and moonshine is so very good! If you are looking for a craft distillery that delivers it all, then I highly recommend Casey Jones. Ask for Courtney if you're doing the tour. I guarantee you won't be disappointed.

I attended the new Tour and Tasting offered by Casey Jones Distillery. I arrived for the tour a…read morebit early, and was awaiting the arrival of my friend who was accompanying me on the tour. Once he arrived, we headed inside. We were greeted outside the doors though, which was a warm welcome that you don't often see anymore. Nice touch! We entered the gift shop area and were directed where to check in for a tour. Troy was exceptionally helpful in explaining what the tour would entail, and he provided each of us with a small bag with a keepsake shot glass and other pamphlets. Once the tour started, I was pleased to see that Troy would be a tour guide. Troy began by escorting us into the social room that is available to large groups and gave us some great insight into the history of the property, and how the back landscaped area came into being. I was very impressed at how clean the facility was, and how immaculate the outside back area appeared. Looks like a great place to sit and sip bourbon! Troy then took us over to the old manufacturing area that houses the original still built by AJ, the Master Distiller. Troy gave us the history behind Alfred Jones, and how the 'Casey' moniker came into being. He described in detail how Casey had perfected his moonshine recipe, but was eventually caught and sent to a minimum-security prison twice for his bootlegging efforts. Troy imparted to us how the family worked to become legal, and how the distilling of bourbon came to fruition. We also had a the opportunity to sample some newly distilled bourbon that was colorless (White Lightning!). It packed a punch and was not a beverage you'd want to sip on regularly! We then visited the recently constructed production building, thanks to a $2 million capital investment that has allowed this fine distillery to grow. Troy told us about differing recipes, and how the four key grains (corn, barley, rye, and wheat) enter into the equation to produce varying spirits. WE had the opportunity to go up on the catwalk to see the enormous vats, and the actual copper cookers that were adjacent to those tanks. I asked where the cookers were manufactured, but Troy was not aware. Not a huge deal, but might be something to have on hand in the future (made in the good ol' USA!). We concluded the tour by returning to the main building from where the tour started, and had the opportunity to try a small taste of bourbon aged in amburana-wood barrels. Absolutely delicious, and my friend's favorite! WE finished the tour by having a small sampling of the distilleries offerings, to include bourbon, moonshine, and and (the name escapes me, forgive me) a spirit to make margaritas! We found the entire experience to be well-worth the drive (I came from Clarksville, and my friend from White House) and would whole-heartedly recommend! My friend and I have done the tours at MB Roland and Old Glory, but our favorite remains Casey Jones'. I will bring my son and his wife out next time they visit from Wisconsin! Thank you to AJ, Peg, Troy, and the entire crew at CJ. :)
