They were quick to reply, courteous, pleasant, and available when we contacted them. As a broker, they do not provide insurance themselves but sell policies from insurance carriers. When we needed to file a claim, their limits became clear. Here is our experience: When we had a claim, their recommendation was that we not file it, citing the possibility of denial and potential premium increases. This was an uninformed and incorrect recommendation. As we asked questions, it became clear they lacked the expertise to help us analyze our policy or advise us on how best to proceed. With outside help, we decided to move forward with filing the claim. At that point, Weaver Insurance introduced us to the insurance carrier -- and then disengaged. They did not assist us in preparing or submitting the claim, did not advocate on our behalf, and did not follow up with the insurer to help move the process forward. As they stated to us, evaluating claims or determining whether the settlement was appropriate "falls outside their scope of services." They fully deferred to the insurance carrier's investigation and judgment. Fortunately, we did receive a substantial settlement, thanks in part to outside help, the carriers third-party claims adjuster, and the insurance company. In our view, Weaver Insurance added no value to the process. We needed them to have the expertise to support our claim, and they did not have it. Their approach raised questions about whether their incentives are aligned with their clients' interests. We understand why Weaver Insurance has been successful -- they are friendly and responsive -- but when it mattered, they did not have the skills to support our needs. Based on our experience, I recommend a broker with expertise who will support you through the full insurance process.

I live a busy life and having to deal with car insurance is the last thing I want to do so I contacted Keith Insurance Agency due to great reviews for my new 2022 Honda Insight, due to having a DUI from 6 years prior and one texting and driving ticket 3 years prior in I knew the insurance wasn't going to be the cheapest for a new car but they get me an okay deal and all is good. They last sent me a POI card 11/25/23 and then nothing for a whole year, mind you my insurance is only 6months but I've been paying this whole time with no updated POI card so technically driving with expired insurance, when I get a letter stating that my specific insurance company isn't going to insure me anymore due to being in California, so great thats when I finally get an email from Tamari. They get me settled up with another insurance carrier Bridger Insurance and I signed something and never got a copy of what I signed and again no email with POI or access to website so I can get the proof (& holy moly they have the WORST reviews!!!!!! and an F rating on the BBB Yippee!!) Like I said I figured I missed the email with the updated POI from May 2024 but when I got the letter stating that they were cancelling I looked and no POI from Tamari or my old insurance. I keep thinking what if I got into an accident during that time.. it makes me sick that I was paying every month with technically no proof of insurance. I feel like I need to take legal action because this isn't right. I'm writing this review to warn others that this is how they treat their clients of 2 1/2 years, they took advantage of me not knowing and they could be doing the same to you.

Also, I asked if I could come to their office to get my insurance information printed and they said they don't have an office for customers so they would send me the print outs. And their "office" is local to me so I thought it would be quick. A year later, when I was going to cancel my policy, I was assured they would do it. I had already moved on to another insurance company. I then got charged for the insurance company that Keith Insurance took out for me which I had confirmed that was cancelled, which then took my checking account negative which I got overdraft fees I contacted them about this, they apologized, but come to find out, they did nothing. Then I get a negative mark on my credit report, which is months later which I then have to contact the insurance company to clear up. This couple is phoning it in. Literally. Totally unprofessional. Seems to have too many things going that they can't keep track of.
