Our garage door spring broke on a Friday afternoon and we were going out of town on Monday and so…read morethe spring had to be repaired. I called a company I had used in the past and they told me their techs would be unable to help but a substitute company would be engaged. On Sunday someone from Drgaragedoorrepairfl.com came and immediately told me his charge would be $275 just for showing up. Well it was Sunday. He began working and replaced the springs, at a charge of $500 each and a roller wheel for $100. Before he left, the door opened and closed. I paid him $1375 but my door worked - so I thought. I returned from my trip 2 weeks later and the door would not work. I looked at my neighbor's springs and they were quite different than the ones I had - at least twice the size. I immediately called the company and they said the technician would return in the morning with the proper springs. After calling me 4 times and putting me off from 11AM to 6 PM he arrived and had the wrong spring. He said he'd return the following morning with the proper spring. I called twice that morning and finally at 11:15 the tech said he was on his way with the right spring. Well it finally worked. He was kind enough to reset the lift control but ( not his fault) it wouldn't work properly so he had to come back twice. The 2nd time he wanted to be paid for a service call - we negotiated that. MORAL OF THE STORY: IF YOUR GARAGE DOOR DOESN'T WORK ON A WEEKEND MAKE EVERY ATTEMPT TO WAIT UNTIL MONDAY TO REPAIR IT. THERE ARE TOO MANY SHARKS OUT THERE. MY NEIGHTBOR FIXED HER GARAGE DOOR 1 WEEK AFTER MY REPAIR BUT ON A TUESDAY, AGAIN 2 SPRINGS, $800. SHODDY TECH RIP OFF FEES!

I paid $325 via Zelle for what was supposed to be a proper repair of my garage door safety sensors…read more Unfortunately, the work was not completed correctly. The sensor wires were not properly repaired; instead, they were poorly spliced. The chain on the garage door opener was also not adjusted as needed. Additionally, I was told the system was lubricated, but there was no visible evidence that this was done. After noticing these issues, I called the company twice to follow up. On both occasions, I spoke with the receptionist, who was polite and assured me that someone would get back to me. Despite these promises, I never received a return call or any follow-up. I am active-duty military and typically handle most home repairs myself. Because I was preparing to leave for several weeks, I relied on a highly rated company to provide professional service and stand behind their work. Unfortunately, that trust was misplaced.

Then after they offered free in-person estimate to get a better view so I went ahead and took it. The guy never arrived but I didn't wait too long since Giselle called me before notifying me that he won't be able to make it the day of so instead the Owner or something took a look at the pictures and gave me an estimate. The price was a tad bit high so I went and looked for some other companies. I got a few options through Yelp (great way to use the service btw) and told them all the lowest price I got and if they would match vs compete. Most didn't respond but Giselle called me after she got home and matched and scheduled the appointment for the next day. Mad props. Their tech arrived first thing at 8am today and just fixed our issue. Leslie was amazing. Paid attention to the details and looked like a honest man. Took a look at our issue and didn't try to change things up right away (I was worried about this), no surcharges or anything. Very satisfied with their service. Would recommend. There are obviously a few things they could improve (look at the beginning) but they killed the execution so mad props.
