If you are curious, or even care Royce would probably be more than happy to explain instead of pasting the reason(s) all over a review. I appreciate Royce reaching out to me directly and professionally. It is unfair to penalize him or his business with such a harsh review that probably would not give a customer the whole picture, or even Royce a chance to continue to earn business where he can being that a customer would see a 1 star review possibly being forever swayed by it to not go forward. Royce was responsive about us still possibly needing a forklift down the line, and overall he does deserve the update. Look forward to seeing/chatting with you again Royce. I cannot say enough good things about the tremendous experience I had with Royce at Inland Empire…read moreLift. They have a large selection of forklifts to meet a diverse array of tasks and we found a unit to meet our needs within 15 minutes of walking around the yard. Royce immediately gave me a very good purchase price, but I had wanted some refurbishment work accomplished before taking delivery. He went above and beyond by providing me with a loaner forklift while the refurbishment work was being performed, the loaner also being a high quality Toyota. In due course Royce and Gus transformed the beat up looking unit I purchased into a show piece; not only are the mechanical components operating flawlessly, but the aesthetics are factory fresh. Within 48 hours of delivery Gus came back down to perform a shakedown of the unit and check all of the fluids. Inland Empire Lift takes substantial pride in their work, their customer service is without equal, and the entire process was seamless and easy. Without a doubt they are the place to go for forklift rental and purchasing; these guys know their stuff inside and out, and I could not be happier with the overall experience and end result.

I called Dakota and spoke to Angel, who was out of town but told me he would see what he could do. We sent photos of the problem. Angel took an active interest in trying to solve the problem and get resources lined up. Fabio arrived in a truck a bit over an hour. We agreed on the proper repair approach which required grinding out the failed weld and adding another piece of angle iron to properly strengthen the insufficient design. He completed the repair in the hotel parking lot for a fair price and we were on our way an hour or so later. Fabio knows his business. I recommend Dakota and a shout out to Angel for taking ownership and making it happen.
