They do have fans that blast so there is some coolness on a hot day. I was thinking of the Piri Piri sauce from back home tangy and spicy but it was neither but still good sauce taste. As for the food we got, it was ok. My hubs and his bro had the combo. The pork belly was a little in the dry side. The grilled Chicken was pretty good. Seasoned rice with good. I also tried their Sisig appetizer as a meal but it was a little too oily but good flavors. It was a little on the salty side or that might be their food in the Philippines. We also tried their fried Piri Piri chicken wings. It was all soggy breading than chicken. There was barely any chicken or it was just a small chicken wings with barely any meat. I think the sauce is the only thing I liked. We had their shakes. The mango shake was a good size and taste but the lychee coconut was more lychee flavor than coconut shake. They use the syrup of the lychee cans. That was disappointing. Service was good. Place is clean. Average flavors though so not sure I would come back. [24R,2025]

The service was good which was quite a difference from most if not all of the other places we ate. They actually came and checked on us several time, brought more sauce, filled waters, checked for more drinks and that everything was good etc. Definitely a stop above other places. They also provided plenty of napkins. The price is a bit higher than other places, but still not bad at all if you are coming from the US. Definitely worth a try if you are not looking for a super cheap meal. Downsides, the beer was warm, not just not cold, but actually warm as in warmer than room temp! There was a bit of a wait to be seated, but that was b/c the place is popular and there is limited seating. It was worth it though.

We came here before and had the worst experience even though we didn't get to try their food. We were a group of nine last year and once seated, they didn't t attend to us even after waiting thirty minutes. Then the rain came so we left since we sat in the outdoor tables. This second time, only a group of three, we were able to be seated right away. Gave us our menu's but we had to flag them to take our order. We sat by the bar and they could see us but didn't think after us looking at them constantly that we wanted to be served? They need to work on service. You need to buy the raw ingredients from the nearby market place and then bring it to them for cooking. They can cook almost everything but mostly it's either steamed, fried, and baked. You can also request that they turn meat, fish, scallops, oysters, veggies and so much more into popular Filipino dishes such as Sinigang, Tinola, Torta and etc. I rated Sababi 4 because it's not the cleanest place to eat. You're technically beside the wet market so the stench could be overwhelming. We had baked oysters, buttered shrimps, grilled pork, sweet and sour Lapu-Lapu and tortang talong and they all tasted amazing! Unfortunately, two of my friends ended up with diarhea and that was a bummer. We're giving them a benefit of a doubt because we did order sandwiches from Subway so many that was what caused the diarhea. Would I recommend it? Yes, but only if you're not picky about where you eat. It's not for everyone so if you're up for exotic food prepared the Filipino way, then dig in.

The restaurant has the most beautiful tropical view, lush greenery, open air, and such a relaxing island atmosphere. It honestly makes the meal even better. I ordered a burger with fries, and it was exactly what I was craving. The burger was juicy and flavorful with fresh toppings on a soft, lightly toasted sesame bun, and the fries were perfectly crispy and golden while still fluffy inside. The vibe is relaxed but elevated, and the service was friendly and attentive without feeling overbearing. It's an easy place to sit back, enjoy the view, and take your time. If you're staying at the Shangri-La or visiting the area, Vintana is absolutely worth a stop. It has great food, incredible views, and a spot you'd happily come back to.

The restaurant has a relaxed yet elegant vibe, with a modern design that feels both welcoming and classy. The food is authentic, offering various cuisines, but primarily Filipino dishes that change from day to day. There are Filipino flavors and international dishes, as well as breakfast options like fresh fruit, pastries and many other choices. I had my all-time favorites, like Kare-Kare (oxtail curry), Sisig (chopped pork parts with chicken liver and onions, seasoned with calamansi and chili peppers), Lechon, Mahi-mahi fish in broth, Pansit, a variety of noodles, fried rice, eggs to order, and Lumpiang Sariwa (fresh spring rolls). There were so many more dishes to try. For drinks, I ordered a flat white coffee one day and enjoyed a variety of their fresh fruit drinks, like watermelon, cantaloupe and mango. For desserts, the Taho (soft soybean pudding with mini boba) brought back memories, as I ate a lot of this growing up. They also had Crepes with various fillings, Kalamay's (sweet sticky Filipino desserts) and Puto (rice cakes). What we loved about this place was the hospitality of the staff. They were all attentive and very respectful. We felt at home and were accommodated nicely. They all gave their best and always with a great smile. I ordered the typical burger -which they don't ask how you want the meat cooked (it always seems well- done) with a side of their fries. My husband ordered the ube shake which, I have to agree, is A MUST! The burger was actually something I'd expect coming from the states, so a little taste of home is always nice. The only reason I took one star away was because the food takes a while to be ready. There's also a lot of confusion as to what to do with the trays once you've completed your meal. I didn't see anyone cleaning up tables and many people just leave their trash on the table. Although there is a section for your waste, it's unclear where you put the rest of the stuff. Understandably, this is right off a busy beach and it's hard to keep up since they're busy- but as long as the food is good, I'm coming back!
