It took us almost 2 hours (yes, you read that correctly) to go 2 miles to get into the venue. We sat in traffic anxiously awaiting our arrival. That was our only bad experience during our trip there. Maybe have someone directing traffic at the stop light? That seemed to be the main problem with the traffic congestion. Once you make it inside of the venue it's fantastic! It's honestly like a time warp. You walk into the woods and most of the employees are dressed in old time clothing. They have tons of vendors from multiple different states. They have live demos with craftsman showing off their skills as well as musical entertainment. They do have delicious food stands to choose from as well. But be prepared to wait in line. We stood in line for about 30-45 for our lunch. You wouldn't think that many people would be out in the woods in the middle of nowhere looking at crafts but boy was I wrong. There had to be multiple of thousands of people there. My favorite stand (pictured) was filled with herbs and spices. A close second was the plant nursery. They really do have something for everyone here. I should add that it's $10 a person to get in and you literally park in a field. It can be a struggle walking from the field parking into the venue if you are handicapped. They did offer handicap parking, but it was completely filled whenever we arrived. They offer a golf cart ride for people that are handicapped, but they just couldn't assist everyone who needed it. Anyways, I would definitely recommend checking this festival out. We are already planning on attending the next festival for Christmas!

Make sure you bring a lot of money with you because items are nice in quality and it gets expensive!! Even on a cold, rainy day in October, the place was packed! It's $10 per adult to get inside, kids 12 and under are free. We went with our family and kiddos and it was great. No issues with pushing our stroller around. However, it can be tricky to buy things for the little ones stockings in they're hanging around so bring someone to provide childcare with you if you decide to bring littles!! There is a Santa Claus, live music and lots of food for sale. We had pierogis, kielbasa sauerkraut sandwiches, Mac and cheese, doughnuts, cherry strudel, chicken wings, pulled pork sandwiches and hot chocolate for lunch during our visit. Everything tasted good! I would definitely go back and bring more $ specifically cash next year!!

Everything: iron garden art, photography, knitted items, ornaments, glassware. There is ample parking and a modest entry fee. I first discovered this little charming cidery and winery from my partner who had tried the cider elsewhere. Returning from Erie, he found that we'd be passing Knocking Noggin so we swung by. We've made the trip three times now. We've only been disappointed once when my partner and I bought 4 growlers for a gathering we were having and none of them tasted good. Something happened where they were either mixed or went bad in a matter of two days. I reached out to management, and they quickly responded with apologies offering to provide us with complimentary refills. We brought our growlers back just as promised and they were refilled at no charge. Some of my favorite ciders have been the seasonal ones including Butter Beer, Pineapple, and Chocolate Strawberry. Pineapple is my top one hopefully coming back in the summertime. If you have the chance, visit this place during a town festival or even when nothing is happening to just have a wine slushy or glass of wine out on the patio. One of our last visits was during a Harry Potter Festival which was fun and interesting. Whatever you're doing, don't pass this place by, you won't be disappointed.

A Long Overdue Return to Mastropietro Winery…read more We finally made it back to Mastropietro Winery after seven years--and what a perfect day for it. It was a quiet winter afternoon, but with a surprising twist: a hot and sunny 77-degree day that felt more like early summer than mid-winter. Naturally, we took advantage of the weather and enjoyed our wine outside, soaking in the sunshine and peaceful atmosphere. I realized I'd never taken a photo in front of the iconic Mastropietro sign--so this visit felt long overdue in more ways than one. We sampled several wines during our visit, and I was really impressed. The Vidal Blanc stood out right away--off-dry, estate-grown, with just a touch of oak that gave it a subtle, elegant complexity. The Riesling was bright and delicious, and the Cabernet was smooth and easy to enjoy. But the real star for me was the Chambourcin--absolutely fantastic! If I heard correctly, it's 100% Chambourcin and estate-grown as well, which made it all the more special. Mastropietro continues to impress, and this visit reminded me why it's such a gem. Cheers to great wine, unexpected weather, and coming back to places that feel like home.

I was really disappointed when the owner of Haunted Hill View Manor, didn't even defend/or talk to the other talented readers and psychics. It's sad it can take one person to wreck people from going back to an event. The owner also needs to have the tours go down to where the vendors are. I have heard complaints some hardly get anyone in their room because they don't have the tours go down the vendor hall. Haunted Hill View Manor is a cool place, from what I understand. It's just disappointing the owner wouldn't talk to the others, who were blackballed by Stacia.

I was really impressed with the Apple Riesling and the Ice Wine. Also, the prices here are great. You won't pay more than $18 for a bottle of their best wine. On a negative note, there are vines located outside the entrance and they are filled with birds. When we came out to our cars they were filled with bird feces. My advice is park away from these vines to the left of the entrance. The owners really need to take these down.

I love historical homes and how they are laid out. The team there was friendly, informative, and pointed out many sites. The fenceposts have these historical signs which was very cool...
