I purchased a brand-new 2025 Mazda 3 on April 23rd. I have been a loyal, long-standing client of Mazda since 2009, but my experience with Mazda de Laval has left me completely disappointed, frustrated, and deeply dissatisfied. Shortly after taking possession, I discovered a pre-existing factory paint defect and early corrosion at the right taillight seam. Recent photographs confirm the corrosion is active and progressing, with visible paint lifting and subsurface oxidation spreading along the seam. This is a clear factory adhesion failure, not wear-and-tear, and it should have been caught during Mazda de Laval's Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI). No customer spending their hard-earned money expects a brand-new car to be delivered with a pre-existing defect missed by the dealership's own inspection. We sent clear photographic proof to the team, but Mazda de Laval has completely ignored our communications. This absolute lack of basic after-sales service and care is stunning. As a client of 17 years, I am utterly shocked; being ignored after discovering a factory defect has entirely shaken my confidence, and my trust in both the Mazda brand and this dealership is practically zero. Under the Quebec Consumer Protection Act (CPA), a brand-new vehicle must be fit for normal use (Sections 37, 38), free of hidden defects where production flaws are legally presumed to predate delivery (Section 53), and match its exact description and representation (Sections 40, 219, 228). Delivering a new car with active seam corrosion directly violates these statutory requirements, constituting a clear breach of acceptable quality and a hidden defect that compromises long-term durability. I expect an immediate response from senior management with a written commitment and a clear timeline for a proper, permanent warranty repair. If the dealership continues to ignore this pre-delivery defect, I will escalate this matter to Mazda Canada and pursue all legal remedies available under the Consumer Protection Act. read more

I have been a Mazda owner since 2018, having owned many models from the Cx-3, Cx-30,Cx-5 and the latest one Cx-90. Although my first purchase was at this dealership, I switched for my second car to the one near my house. Unfortunately the service I got the second and third time around wasn't felt as an appreciated and valued customer. I chose to come back to this dealership in Laval only for the sole reason that I remembered how well I was treated in 2018. I wasn't wrong to make the drive and to come see Mr.Carlos Da Silva. He greeted me promptly and with warmth. I told him what I wanted, what my price budget was and he and Mr.Francis Deschamps fulfilled this request within minutes and went beyond without any hesitation. They truly showed my family and I what customer service is and genuinely making us feel part of the Mazda family. Walked in here to see if I could get a service appointment for my CX-5 for an oil change. To my surprise they took me in right away. It was not the first time I had used the dealership. I'd been here before. I was expecting to have to come back a few days later. Also I had mentioned about a dent I had in my side quarter panel and was provided a reasonable quote to fix and buff it out. The dealership has a shuttle and it was great for me to take it to my nearby work. I was dropped off and picked up on schedule when my vehicle was done after a quick confirmation call. In my head I was thinking, quick, efficient and super convenient. They have bilingual people in their service department which I appreciate especially when automotive terms in French are not my forte. Hours of service are convenient Monday to Friday for new and used vehicles 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM. Service department is open 6:45 AM to 4:30 pm each day. Wednesday they are open to 7:30 pm. Except beware they are only open till noon on Friday and not open on the weekends. This amazes me for an auto dealership but I guess their customers work around their schedule. In the province of Quebec many auto dealers are closed on the weekend. Some have started to open but many have refused to be open on weekends. A very well appreciated experience and service was top notch! read more
