What I got was a 3rd floor room which was not only too low to see the ocean but had a blue film on the outside of the glass balcony door (see photo). In top of that, the "balcony" was barely large enough to step onto much less sit and enjoy the "ocean view". But it didn't really matter because the balcony door didn't open. I called the front desk and was told "sorry there's film on the glass and the balcony door can't be open because we're under construction." That would have been useful information when I booked the room and when I checked in. The manager agreed to waive the resort fee which I appreciate but it doesn't make up for the fact that this hotel willfully withholds the fact that a construction project is under way.
