Local gem. Passed by this literal hole in the wall on the way to the metro and noticed a line of locals stretched out the door. Residents told me it's one of the best churrerías in Madrid, and boy did it not disappoint. I ordered the churros with melted chocolate and freshly squeezed orange juice. The churros were crispy, fresh, and not too sweet--the chocolate was thick without being too dense or sweet in taste. Some others also enjoyed the porras and the coffee, or would top their fried goodies with sprinkled sugar. I'm not the biggest churro fan but this is a must-try if you're in the area, and for a great price--less than 5 euros! Be warned that finding a spot to sit inside is difficult especially in the mornings, so try to get there around opening if you can. read more
