Very fast, nice. Could tell it was not a chain because they were friendly, knowledge, fast, to the point.

We had an EverStart, Walmart battery that was dead. Since it was less than a year old, we went to…read moreWalmart to replace it under the Walmart warranty. Unfortunately, Mark, the Manager On Duty was behind the counter. He completely shut us down, stating that there is NO warranty for small batteries. He said that even if I brought it back the day after purchase he'd refuse to take it back. Mind you, on the wall is advertised "3 Year Warranty", And "4 Year Warranty." NOTHING about ZERO warranties for smaller batteries (whatever "smaller" is defined as). If indeed, that is the Walmart policy, it is what it is. I don't expect people to break rules to accommodate me. But there is NO excuse for the attitude. Mark (last name unknown-he refused to provide it) was full of attitude and more concerned with receiving a negative review then he was satisfying a customer. He refused to even test the battery to see if that was the problem. As a business owner employing 200, I know you can't fix something if you don't know it's an issue. I also recognize the need for a coaching moment. And this was one of those moments, because if he worked for me, and I witnessed that interchange, he'd be searching for a new job on Indeed. Maybe he was having a bad day. Maybe he lost his dog. Or maybe he's just in the wrong position. What ever the reason, it caused a customer to spend their money elsewhere. Customer service isn't that hard. It starts with wanting to provide it.

DON'T DO IT! RUN AWAY!…read more I recently took my car to the Montrose, CO Walmart for an oil change b/c I needed to get some shopping done at the same time. Turns out they were completely behind on their appointments and didn't get to my car until about an hour and a half after my appointment. Then, after I checked in to see how long it would take (I had other appointments I needed to get to), was told another 45 minutes to 1.5 hours. I didn't press it, and just figured I'd have to cancel other things if I couldn't make it. They ended up rushed my oil change and ended up stripping the plug making the pan leak. They informed me that "the plug was stripped" (in a passive way like it just "was") and didn't have anything else to offer me on the subject. Turned out almost all my oil leaked out in about a week, and I got an appointment with my mechanic to address it. The pan had to be replaced, as well as the oil. Over $460 of damage caused by Walmart! And, knowing this, they still charged me for the oil change!! I called my mechanic first and asked if they had noticed anything last time I was in (had been in recently for something else and they typically give things a once-over) and they said it was fine and no leak. So I called Walmart and explained the problem. Couldn't talk to anyone who could help me with this and was informed that I would have to make a trip to come in and speak to Jennifer (??). I was given one day she would be there, but no time. And the gal refused to take my information and have Jennifer call me. Her response when I pressed why was "This is not my fault." As though she had no responsibility of customer service for something she didn't cause. All I can say is LESSON LEARNED. Avoid Walmart Auto like the plague.
