If there was a weakness in Leah then it would be the fact that she personally cares too much about her clients.

I had a very detailed and informative initial consultation with Jason Neufeld. His knowledge of…read moreMedicaid planning and Elder Law in general is second to none. He was able to put my mind at ease as we start the arduous process of planning for my elderly father's future health care needs, financially. I would highly recommend consulting with Jason and his firm for legal guidance when planning for your elderly loved ones.

After our father suffered a severe stroke, his life changed dramatically. Paying for his…read morenewly-needed care was a big challenge. My brother and I started looking into acquiring Medicaid benefits, which was an incredibly difficult task. We soon realized that we needed an attorney that specializes in elder care to help us with this process. There are hundreds of elder care attorneys in the greater Miami area. We searched for reviews of different firms, but noticed that most of the recommendations were coming from other lawyers and colleagues. We wanted real-world recommendations from actual families, with stories similar to ours. We called Assisted Living facilities in the area and spoke to their managers. Several of them recommended Jason Neufeld with the firm Elder Needs Law. We decided to work with Jason and his staff. Jason and his staff are extremely efficient. They are very knowledgeable, caring, and responsive. They have answered all of our questions, (special thanks to Tracy Meli) and guided us through this process. Choosing Elder Needs Law was definitely a good decision for us. The Medicaid application process is very complicated, confusing and time-consuming. We could have NEVER navigated through these many processes by ourselves. Our mother has since declined medically, and now both our parents have been approved by Medicaid, thanks to Elder Needs Law. Our anxiety about how we can afford their care is gone and we can sleep at night. We highly recommend Elder Needs Law.

I engaged Wintter Law to settle a small estate for my deceased sister. The total assets involved amounted to approximately $100,000.00 of which about $90,000.00 came from the sale of her condominium. I live out of state so my interaction was by phone or email. I was told to expect a $3,000 to $5,000 bill based on the size and simplicity of the estate. it ended up being $24,576.45! The case was passed around to at least 4 different attorneys and paralegals causing duplication, delays and confusion. When I asked for an accounting of the time billed I was told I should be grateful they did not charge more. There are some good people there but as they say, "the fish stinks from the head down". Mr. Wintter was arrogant, condescending, rude and unprofessional. He knew the vulnerability of my position and used it to milk as much money from my nieces and nephew as possible. Do not use this firm unless you want to be over charged and talked down to.

Beyond impressed. I…read morespoke to Max G. Soren via phone; he's extremely professional he and will not waste your time. Mind you, I cannot begin to number the amount of other lawyers that I spoke to in WPB before him... He reviewed all of my documents after seeing them on a Friday and then faithfully contacted me back on the following Monday with a thorough explanation of all terms, processes and our would-be next steps. All of this was the free consultation. Wow. Truly wow! I'm honoured (and a bit surprised) to be the first to review this firm. Ask for Mr Soren. He gave me an honest assessment and most reasonable speculation for what most likely would happen, should I wish to pursue this issue. Having a tiny bit of legal knowledge helped me to know that he was not only sharp but also speaking honestly rather than greedily. I fully recommend this firm or at best, Mr. Soren. He will not waste your time. Be kind and polite ;)

So what is it I am supposed to do with the documents you "prepared" but had already been filed?…read more They are USELESS. It would be completely different if they just weren't to my liking but this isn't the case. You prepared documents that had already been prepared!!!!!! So now I have ZERO ZILTCH NOTHING from your company just a charge. Why do you think this is ok? I guess that's my biggest thing is that you think it's ok to just take someone's money for documents that were already filed!!!!! Can you please explain this? To me it's about ethics and how you are as a "company". I am in the moving services business and sometimes people sign a contract with us "after we call in a crew, have to pay a crew for the hours, pay for our truck get to their house, BUT they aren't packed.". You know what we do? We tell them sorry but you were supposed to be packed up. Here is a refund of the money you gave please call us when you are all packed OR pay additional for us to pack your personal belongings. We don't just keep their money because ethically that is that is WRONG. Your company lacks ethics and understanding while people are in need. I also believe you take advantage of people. If you see your other poor reviews it's very similar to mine. People weren't given what they signed up for or they were given half the work but charged in full. I am sure there are minor things you can handle but a case like mine you should have said SORRY WE CANT HELP. You know like you did AFTER you took my $$$$!!!!! Completely awful experience with this company. Yes, I understand they aren't attorneys but honestly for this price for what!? $550 for paperwork I already filed?! I can show them proof the paperwork they gave me to file had ALREADY BEEN FILED!!!! So what is it I am paying for? I am going to report them to everyone I can because this is a scam. Why didn't they just tell me they couldn't help me?!??! No instead they just took my money like crooks. Let's get something straight: Chase denied it because I didn't respond. It's ok because I am reopening the dispute. I was never notified to respond. But what I find extremely odd is that you find this ok. I guess it says a lot about character.
