After our father suffered a severe stroke, his life changed dramatically. Paying for his newly-needed care was a big challenge. My brother and I started looking into acquiring Medicaid benefits, which was an incredibly difficult task. I was looking for a real attorney to represent me after a car accident ,one that had experience dealing with ride share companies, so I went online to find the best. I went online and type in "the best uber accident attorney in Miami and Google brought me to this firm because like the heading on their page "they're the best lyft and uber accident attorneys "plus with their 5 star feedback rating what could possibly go wrong, right...? Well , the ratings are absolutely wrong they are the worst . They were warning signs while I was still in the 3 day "cool off period" but I had faith the reviews were accurate. I can tell you with 100 percent certainty the reviews are not real. Red flag 1 :We met with Allen Nuefeld for our initial consultation because our attorney that we were supposed to meet with wasn't there ,Robert pinkert, and that was after schedule our appointment. That's completely understandable because attorneys are busy Mr.Nufeld told us Mr. Pinkert was going to call us and go over the case with us when he gets back. well, six weeks later no call from Mr.pinkert. I had to call him to find out about my car because lyft insurance company was giving me the "run around". Did I mention this was six weeks later and still no call?? Red flag 2: A couple of days after sign the contract for representation my wife called the office to speak with the paralegal, Lydia, about information she requested, she was told that Lydia was on vacation, but I had absolutely no problem reaching Lydia the same day. At this early stage Lydia didn't know we were together. Later correspondence with Lydia was nothing more than pure attitude for every question asked about my car. I had to keep asking them over and over again that I taught you guys had experience with rideshare companies, they don't . I noticed these red flags but I taught I was just over exaggerating it , boy was I correct of the things to come. So, as we were coming on the six month mark with this firm representing us , we called to find out how the case was going because after retaining this firm we never spoke to our attorney about our case . We schedule an appointment on a Monday to meet our attorney for the very first time that Friday . Friday we went in and met our attorney He , Mr.Pinkert , came in the room with a dirty pair of blue jeans and a polo shirt sat down and looked at us and said he had to go over the case because he didn't have a chance to go over it and our file was just giving to him . Did I mention this was about six months later and four days after requesting the meeting??? We are uncomplicated people so we just went with what ever Mr Pinkert was telling us , you know he's the attorney, right? So the holidays past , and a new year started still no call from anyone in that office. The doctor we were going to was not good so we wanted to change and find a better one because the pain level was still the same and a new injury occurred. I called into Mr Pinkert office he told me to print out a list of my pain management doctors that were covered by my private insurance so he can see if he knew any of the doctors in the list. I printed it took it all the way to his office a day later he emails me telling me there are no names of the doctors. I redid it and Mr Pinkert told me he didn't know any of the doctors. He then told me to find my own doctor and good luck. Did I mention he's getting 33.3 percent ? If you are considering this firm for an auto accident case, don't walk away run and don't look back.
