My father and I hired Ms. Ritz to get me through a rough time with an M&D charge (psilocybin). A…read morefellow prisoner recommended her to me. Golfer guy. I think all that was a setup. Though she kept me out of prison on a fairly nasty charge, I had a weird experience, tinged with the system's corruption.
She didn't respect my religion or my rights, including how my rights had previously been egregiously violated by civil attorneys. She just didn't care to get involved enough to be a good lawyer, and give me good advice, or any advice. She charged me for an analysis of motion-to-suppress chances, but gave me the impression it would be a long shot.
Ms. Ritz was low-sympathy, and by no means got me the best possible deal. Her process was far from transparent. Her loyalties were questionable. The process was long-term, including the probation sentence I got, which was years of torture, stuck in Texas, getting exploited and oppressed by everyone who smelled my blood in the water. I'm a creative person, and was likely under surveillance.
She made it subtly clear she didn't want the early release hearing or expungement business, which I gave to another lawyer, who got me all-the-way off-the-hook, with a snap of his finger. Of course, I was the one who had climbed a bit in status, in the software business, and fulfilled the community service obligations and fines.
I frankly think of her as a mob lawyer, and possibly connected with their intellectual property fraud. Seemed like there was fraud all around me, and legal scrutiny on me, but so many crimes against me were ignored. When I called her out on Facebook, her profile redirected me to a girl, who looked underage. Perhaps I should not put that on her, as I too have been impersonated on social media, but how come no lawyer has ever advised me about that? The whole state reeks of legal malpractice and negligence, via its 'tort reform' agenda.
Social, legal, and financial mishandling of me were major factors in leaving my home state of Texas.
