This review has nothing to do with Mayben Reality; it has to do with a dishonest Realtor they employ named Cassandra (Cassy) Karnes. I have dealt with her and she makes promises she doesn't keep even if it's in the contract! Her objective is to tell you what you want to hear so she can get her check! She is not being a fiduciary in the selling process; it's only about her commission. I have filed a complaint with the TREC, and I am trying to warn others so they don't have to go through what I did. Amber Fox with Mayben Realty showed us a house, during which time we looked around casually and asked a lot of questions. She knew a lot of the answers off the top of her head, and the ones she didn't know, she found. What stuck with us about Amber was that, unlike other realtors that we've experienced, she didn't rush us through the house and act like she had other places to be. She was really friendly, personable, and made us feel like our prospective home purchase was as important to her as it was to us. She didn't sugar-coat the property and try to sell us on it; she told us the pros and cons and let us decide for ourselves, as it should be. We ended up not getting that property, but the next time we found a house we liked, we knew we wanted Amber and Mayben Realty there in our corner. We ended up buying that house, and Amber was in constant communication with us throughout the process, answering any questions we had and letting us know when things were suspect and what was normal for the process. When it came time for our bank to appoint an appraiser, Amber knew them by name and even their particular way of appraising. When she turned out to be right, it was very impressive. Since then, we sold our old house, again using Amber Fox and Mayben Realty, and it was just as positive an experience to have them represent us as sellers as it was when we were buyers. She was in constant text and email communication throughout the process and handled a lot of business for us while providing expertise throughout.
