The service is terrible! 1. I brought my car over and they stole parts off my car without notice 2. They took 2 months just to fix a tire 3. When I took my car Over there they reved my car and mistreated it by breaking it even more 4. I just wanted a tire fix but they charged me even more. 5. They gave me hidden fees! This place is now called Maxon's. I had a great experience here. Needed something fixed related to my oil pressure. The managers/owners were very honest people and cared to explain to me everything that goes into this repair and what they would do. I cringe that I had to at least give them 1 star. My review of B&B Auto Service will sound made up and totally unreal but I assure you, this happened in real life. I never write reviews for anything whether good or bad and this was so horrific, here I am writing a review.... On Wednesday, November 9, I had my vehicle towed to B&B to have the timing chain replaced. I spent time and money replacing sensors and the starter before figuring out it was the timing chain. I made it very clear I was bringing my car there for a new timing chain and they even gave us a quote for it so they were also well aware what I was bringing it in for. The next day, on Thursday, November 10, my wife got a call from B&B saying the car started right up and that we could come pick it up, no charge. We get to B&B and we're informed the car is NOT fixed but that a sensor needed replaced and we could pick the car up the next day. They said we would only be charged for the parts and not the labor since they told us it was done and it wasn't. At this time, I'm thinking this is a great shop and their customer service is top notch. WRONG. Friday the 11th came and still no car. They said the sensor they replaced needed to be programmed with the car's computer but the car would be ready to pick up Saturday the 12th. I couldn't pick it up that weekend because of other obligations. Monday, November 14.... I saw that my car was no longer inside the garage, it was parked in the lot. I stopped to pick it up and pay. When i went inside, that's when I was informed the car was still in the same condition it was when it was dropped off 5 days prior. They removed the new parts and realized I needed a new timing chain. I still don't know why they didn't call to tell me any of this. At this point, I'm extremely irritated with B&B and explained that I brought the car to them for a new timing chain, not for diagnostics. I have a family and my wife and I have been sharing my car. i work third shift and she works retail and we have a young child who goes to school half day. I had already missed work because of this and I'm a supervisor. B&B showed me the price of the new timing chain they just order for another car (it was the same car as mine just different color) that had the same problem and as dropped off days after mine was dropped off. I was promised by the owner of B&B that the car would be done before my wife had to be at work at 1pm Thursday, November 17. Today is Thursday, November 17 and I still don't have my car. At noon, I called to see if it was done. I was told they were putting it back together but it wouldn't be done before 1pm. The owner denied ever telling me it would be done at that time. He, the owner, told me there was a broken bolt and that no auto parts store would sell him a replacement bolt so he had to get it from a dealership. The phone conversation became heated when the owner decided to give me attitude so I hung up, got in my car, and went to the shop. The owner brings me back into the shop where the car was. (Side note, he also had a young child in the shop around all the heavy machinery for some reason. I noticed because I tried to watch my language.) He handed me the broken bolt and I asked why they never seem to call us when something comes up that will change when the car was promised to be done. He claims he was about to call me and that he had just learned about it from his mechanics (yet he spent all morning tryin to find this bolt). As I'm telling im about my disappointment in his business, he walks me off and goes into the office area. I stood in the shop holding this broken bolt waiting to see if he was coming back and had walked me off to go grab something else to show me or something. NOPE. He was just rude. I walked back through the lobby where there were 7 or 8 customers waiting. As I walk out, I stopped and loudly announced to the customers they should take their business elsewhere and they've had my car for 8 days for a 2 day repair. After I exit the building and walk to my car, the owner runs out behind me and told me if I come on his property again he will have me arrested and "Now it's $800!" This isn't the end. I got home, told my wife what happened, and then she called the shop. She spoke to the owner who kept cutting her off even after she asked him to stop multiple times. When he wouldn't stop cutting her off, she raised her voice to tell him to quit talking over her. He then began to scream at her on the phone and said "I am so sick and tired of you guys calling here and showing up!" That conversation ended abruptly. My wife tried to call the shop back a few times over a few minutes and they had taken their phone off the hook. I took it there for a timing chain. They did everything except the timing chain then informed me I needed a new timing chain as if I didn't already know. They have had the car for 8 days for a 2 day repair then had the nerve to treat us the way they did. read more
