As a former employee, with an inside prospective a few things should be noted. First off Patrick…read morehas almost no professional education in personal training. He claims to be self taught and learned what he knows from his personal experience. The truth to the matter is Pat knows almost nothing on the subjects anatomy and physiology, dieting, and physical training. As someone with a legitimate certification and degree in training, I can attest that I have seen Patrick training clients in very dangerous ways, that will very likely lead to injury or a lack of results. His diet advice is also based on no factual data just what he personally thinks is right. He backs up none of his training with science or evidence. Now tell me does this sound like someone that you would pay $50 an hour to provide you with misinformation in bad advice? Not to mention the state of the gym of the gyms cleanliness call, which is horrendous. The gym floor is maybe swept once a week, and the rest of the building is covered in Grime and dust. No equipment is wiped off of sweat after other clients. Their is miscellaneous equipment piled up in rooms because your personal trainer Patrick has said he is too lazy to pick up his own gym. When you disagree with Patrick as a client he will completely undermine you tell you you know nothing and you're stupid in order for you to only take his terrible diet and training advice. If you disagree with him as an employee he will refuse to pay you money owed and completely ignore you when you try to settle the dispute like adults. It's not like Patrick had other trainers in the past and they all left his business because of his Shady practices and bad leadership skills or anything? Oh wait that did happen as well. As someone who normally would never write a negative review because it's not worth my time, This one definitely is. For someone who preaches a lifestyle of commitment and integrity in all things-physical and psychological he has neither. He is in this business just for the money not for the people.( which he actually said to me) He doesn't care if you see results or not as long as you can make it easy for himself with a non comprehensive, injury-prone training session so he can sit back and collect a check and make a bad name for trainers everywhere.

As a client of Law of Motion personal training for the last 2.5 years, I can say with certainty…read morethat Patrick Hogan does know how to train his clients in a productive and safe way. I started out as a 65 year old male with muscle atrophy struggling to lift 5-10 pounds and decided to get a personal trainer to overcome this progressive condition. I couldn't even do 1 real pushup. Since training with Patrick, I have reversed the atrophy and have built muscle that everyone says that people older than 40 rarely can do. As for safety, Patrick frequently corrects my form for optimal results and safety. He is especially concerned with shoulder and knee safety which can bring training to an abrupt halt (especially at my age). To date, I have not suffered any injuries as a result of training with Patrick. Diet is another area in which Patrick has knowledge in. In my case, he had me increase my protein intake and compliment it with lots of fruits and vegetables. Along with that, he had me increase my water intake which is so critical to my development. I plan to continue on with Law of motion well into my later years because of the results I am seeing and to keep muscle atrophy at bay which is a problem facing all older people.

Recently got to try out F45 for the first time after years of eyeing this gym... and let me just…read moresay... it was well worth the wait! So I recently started a free 2 week trial with Class Pass and saw F45 as one of the gyms available to try out... so I decided to stop by the Lake Nona location for a quick workout. This F45 is located within a strip mall and had a decent amount of parking available around the gym. Upon entering, I was greeted almost immediately and checked in. This spot is pretty spacious and very well lit. The gym is broken up into separate stations with each station having a clear view of the tv which displays the workout needing to be completed. The trainers Leo and Leah were fantastic! They definitely helped with putting me at ease... since it was my first class and all. They did a quick demo of each workout and they also placed me in the same stations as one of the regulars so that they could help me if needed, which I truly appreciated. Overall, I really enjoyed F45! I like the fact that it's a 45 min session each time...and you truly feel accomplished by the end of the work out. I will definitely be back soon to try the other classes!

I was not aware that I had signed up for one of the "tougher" classes, but I completed the class…read moreand can still breathe and am alive enough to type this review. I attended a 3-peat class involving 3 repeats of 10 stations that involved a variety of movements and equipment. The high intensity intervals really work your entire body and get your heart pumping at its limit. Lindsey and Nyna were amazing coaches, and since it was my first time, they provided plenty of encouragement and suggestions for alternative ways to do the activities. It was definitely a challenge, especially for someone like me who only runs and has no arm strength. But I left in a bright mood (from all the endorphins and adrenaline) and knowing I'd become stronger. Apparently the class I took only happens around once a month. They usually have cardio classes Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, and weights on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays. The facility and equipment were very clean and finding parking was easy. The pricing is not pretty but is as expected for many serious gyms in Lake Nona. It's $65 for two classes every 2 weeks or $180 every 2 weeks for unlimited classes.
