I have grown so much in strength and confidence as a result of my training here. Anyone interested should come for a free class- you won't regret it!

I first joined this sacred temple in attempts to learn more about myself. Learn and grow I did. The instructors I trained under were kick ass. Like rip your head off make it look easy. The one who honed my basic skills was Laoshi Harrison. To have such an instructor was an honor. In my time training I would learn forms and principles that I could take to my day to day life. Principles like: breath work, root, striking, flexibility, blocking, & holds. Mind you I am not looking for a fight. But, SHOCK AND LOCK. Am I right? As a student I felt respected. As a student I felt appreciated. As a student I felt nurtured. That is what allowed me to grow. That is what made me keep coming back. This element of care I promise you won't find anywhere else. And it is the exact element of healing that is in the name and is what makes this house of martial arts special. This temple was a place where I could improve. Where I could fall on my face and not be laughed at. If my form wasn't right or I did something wrong. I wasn't reprimanded. I was guided in the right direction. My 6 months training at Sacred Mountain has given me something that is rare to find - Confidence and Security. Sure you can buy a gun and kill someone trying to defend yourself. And maybe end up in jail..... Or..... You can be the talk of the town because you handled a situation by hitting someone with an inward fan kick. The choice is yours! I seriously was blessed to train here, do yourself a favor and become a student of Sifu Banks, you won't regret it!
