If that were the case, I would have wished she had told me she couldn't look at them in the first place and saved us both the time. It wasn't a timing issue, my partner and I were the only customers in the store from arrival until departure. I am young and a minority, I was openly uneducated about the jewelry, and I can't help but feel as if that all amounted to her poor treatment of me.
