However I tried it again last week and it was outstanding. They have bought the shop next door and expanded to make probably the largest lounge plus restaurant in town. We had a couple of drinks at the bar to find the bartender was actually an Englishman who had arrived in Sweden via New Zealand. Drinks selection is good but focused on bottle beer, spirits and cocktails nothing much in the way of draft beer. Onto the food, the starters are based on tapas so we started with goat cheese wrapped in bacon and chorizo with garlic bread. All excellent. Mains were equally good I had chicken with pepper sauce and my colleague had the steak. Very good quality and generous portions. We were both pretty full afterwards so rather than desert we had a cocktail each. Price wise it's not cheap even in Sweden. £160 for 2 people but it is exceptional! Give it a go in this town which seems to open a new upmarket restaurant each week.

Warm and trendy. Music selection: Soulful. You have a choice of 7 different burgers and the odd man out Falaffel Wrap. The selection should cover most tastes. Most excited we were of the bacon jam and figuring out how that would taste. We both went with number 5, "En mästare är alltid en mästare". The burger itself were a good burger: the flavors mixed well, the bread was fresh and the meat cooked well without going dry. If one would complain about anything, the paddies were a bit on the thin side. Fries were ok, though of the thin standard variety. For a 189:- burger I would assume something more. Coleslaw was approved, though it's not my favorite piece on a burger plate so don't take my word for it. All in all, a very decent meal at a nice restaurant, that gets almost an extra full star for atmosphere. With the bar getting constantly raised for burger joints in the larger Stockholm area, I'm missing some oomph, though I am leaving satisfied. I will be coming back. On a general note; when will burger joints trying to position themselves seriously in Sweden start serving sweet potato fries? We need need more sweet potato fries in our lives!

We had a pre arranged meal of Filet Mignon with hollandaise sauce on the side, vegetables and pom frittes. The steak was cooked and flavored to perfection and the service was spot on. The décor in the place is a very nice upscale yet trendy cool. The seats were very comfortable and designed for a leisure dining experience. I cannot say enough about the staff. They handled our rowdy bunch with prompt and delightful service. My drink was never empty and they got the 50 plates out to the diners within about 5 minutes which I found remarkable. They were all very friendly and handled any oddball requests with professional courtesy. Love this place. I will be back next time I am in Vasteras!

Your expectations should be meat, and nothing but meat, in all different flavors. I dont think you will be disappointed either, since the quality is high. I went with a meat platter, which offered a lot of different meats in charitable portions. Sides were served in restricted portions, especially the potatoes, but you can always order more. Sat down in one of their U-tables which was very comfy option, although the table was kinda small to room four ppl with meat and sides. Overall this is a very good option for meat lovers, and thats probably why they are such a popular venue.
