They are brief in their summaries and tell you everything you could do rather than help guide you towards what you should do. They are particularly bad at pediatric dentistry. When my son was getting one of his first check-ups, it became evident he was missing two front teeth. The dentist proceeded to use the term "recessive gene" three times and claimed my family must have the same "recessive gene" problem -- we don't, neither do members of my wife's family -- and then made me feel stupid for not noticing this issue. New parents need to feel supported with their children's health. These dentists made me feel ashamed and confused. When my son was about to get his first cavity filled at 4 years old, the dentist first claimed it would be very challenging cause it was late in the day, then had us come back later in the week first thing in the morning, then gave up and referred us to pediatric dentistry, which we should have done in the first place. It was a tremendous waste our time and frankly I'm appalled by their righteous attitude. Also, they don't do direct billing, so be prepared to pay up front fully even if you have coverage. Don't get me wrong. These dentists are skilled and trained. They know dentistry. Their attitude sucks. I have seen medical specialists my entire life and I'm very attuned to who demonstrates care and who just treats appointments as work. Leaside made us feel like a job and not people. Severely disappointed in Leaside Dentistry.

So: - you may be convinced to get a non-necessary, but often costly treatment (paid by you or your dental plan), - at the same time your real complaints and concerns will be ignored or belittled, - you may be X-rayed an excessive number of times, for no good reason and often not very professionally, - you may be even a subject to a faked procedure (which I'm almost sure I recently got) Then my advice is: stay away from this business.

She said I will give you till the end of the month lol, December? during Christmas when times alone right now are hard with the cost of living increasing daily! She said no there is nothing they can do. I spoke to someone else in the office I am familiar with and asked if Colin can call me. He did not. I asked several times. She then called and said they can take off $14.00 and again asked when can you make the payment. For me it is the principal, I have been going there for well over 20 years and have given them my business even when I live well out of the area. I have been a loyal patient. In my early twenties, I underwent a painful and jarring dental procedure, which had lasting and significant implications. As a result, I was terrified of the dentist's office, and out of fear, I avoided very much necessary dental work and care for years. When it wasn't an option to avoid it any longer, I stumbled into Dr. Boudakian's office by chance, and I was met with the kindest possible care. Every single person at Bayview Village Dental, in the several years I have been a patient, is brilliant and compassionate, and an absolute dream, and I ADORE that the same wonderful practitioners are there year after year. Dr. Moncarz himself was funny, friendly, and took the time to explain things to me in as much depth as I wanted. I was greatly reassured by the time I left my consultation appointment and arrived for my surgery feeling only minimally nervous. I was seen exactly on time for all of my appointments and everything seemed quite efficient while I was being seen. The staff were willing to work with me to book appointments around my crazy schedule. Dr Moncarz made sure I was armed with enough medications to deal with the pain I'd have after having four wisdom teeth (two impacted) removed under general anesthetic. He also reviewed the post-op instructions me with as well as providing a detailed handout that I could read again later. I even received a call from the office the day after my surgery checking in to see how things were going and address any questions. One star off because the clinic is a bit cluttered and the kind of dirty that happens when a place has been open for years and years. I have no concerns about safety (and I'm a nurse - I feel like I'm a pretty good judge of cleanliness and sterility), but the appearance of the place could have been more reassuring. That said, I was thrilled with the whole team and everything went as well as can be expected when you're having teeth yanked out of your head. I'd definitely recommend Dr. Moncarz should you ever be in need of similar services.

Before my appointment, I learned that my originally booked dentist had an emergency. Dr. Igor Vujanic (who is also the owner of the practice) stepped in to take care of me, along with his assistant. I couldn't have asked for better care. Both were warm, friendly, and professional from start to finish. Dr. Igor took the time to clearly explain what he was doing, which I really appreciated -- it made the whole experience much more comfortable. Best of all, I was done within 30 minutes of sitting in the chair. A couple of practical tips for new patients: this is a very busy office, so booking ahead is essential as they fill up fast, especially it seems the practice recently went from 4 dentists down to 3. Also, I'd suggest giving yourself more than a tight one-hour window for your appointment -- in a real-world clinical setting, previous appointments can sometimes run a little over, and you don't want to feel rushed. Plan for a comfortable buffer and you'll have a stress-free visit. Overall, I highly recommend Dr. Igor and his team for their professionalism, clear communication, and genuine care for their patients.
