Took it back into the store and tried to get my money back. The clerk had to text the manager, Mr Malik Hughes. He was no help and refused to give me my money back. Told me to come back the next day, although not sure what he would have done then but I live 20 minutes away, so I wasn't about to waste my time with that. His response was "it's not my fault that the candy bar was stale. You need to take it up with the manufacturer". The candy was about six weeks away from expiring. So if you purchase bad candy, stale chips or flat beer here, good luck because they will not stand behind their product. So stupid for a $2 candy bar. I will never go back there again and they have left a bad taste for any Maverick.

When the Meridian located, it has become our preferred location but it doesn't stop us from visting the other locations because Costco doesn't have the same assortment in every location. Sometimes an item in Boise is not in Meridian or vice versa. The team at the Meridian is fanstatic, whethere it is the door checkers/scanners or the cashiers and even the pharmacy department. A special shoutout the following team members. Ashley who was in the pharmacy department but now up front. Madison who is up front and in the pharmacy department Marcy who is the VIP of the pharmacy department Wendi who is the unsung hero in the pharmacy department Soleil who checks you out when you leave There are plenty of others who make our visits great and we feel like we are shopping with friends and family. We are very thankful to have this location so close to us. Lastly, the newest intiative to grab hot dogs, pizzas and more is very problematic as they no longer call out numbers. The new initiative is to self check out and get in line. What the suits and ties didn't factor was how big that line would get with all the customer's carts. There is no 'parking lot' for the carts so the line to hand off the receipt to the food court person is simply unorganized and chaotic.

This just doesn't make sense to me. I was happy they were open for thanksgiving and had a few options for hot breakfast sandwiches. The Friday after had even fewer and maybe it's about supply and demand. Generally a great chain to visit, this one today has me scratching my head. On a positive note, $2.99 gas on this day below listed Nitro prices.

I heard my friend scream, and jumped out of the car to find her covered in gasoline from top to bottom. I went into the store, owed by Jacksons (Meridian, ID) and told the clerk what had happened. The store clerk said, "this is not the first time this happened." My friend has pumped gas for more than 35 years. she said the pump stopped at $21 something, she pulled out the pump and it gushed out like a hose. My friend washed up in their bathroom and removed the gas soaked clothes. With limited change of clothes she had to wrap a towel around her waist and walk through a Peppermill Resort Hotel like this. The clerk said she reported the problem with the pump right away but I saw a car pull up after us and pump gas at the same pump. When I returned back to our hotel I contacted Jacksons and left a message regarding this incident. The next morning I spoke to the Jacksons store manager, Larry Bechard regarding this incident. He wouldn't even listen to us, was argumentative and said the store clerk had a different story. My friend was quite distraught over this incident and now being accused of client error. We also spoke to Tim Morris, District Mgr regarding this incident. They refuse to admit any wrong doing. Did not offer to pay for her clothing and purse. He said the pump technician checked the pump and there is no problem. Why would the clerk say "this is not the first time this has happened." He made it out that it was my friends fault. Also I learned that this is not a Chevron owned station, they just use Chevron gas. I asked Jackson's store for a small amount of $250.00 to cover her clothing expenses without admitting wrong. They said they would give my friend a $100 Chevron gift card. What a slap in the face. Terrible customer service, poor reflection on Chevron as they said it is not their pump, it is up to Jacksons store.
